I’ve used the services of this mechanic a couple times before for basic things like oil change and changing break pads however this last time I had a bit more work to be done. I explained what the issue was as best as I can being someone that knows very little about cars and he said he will do an assessment and let me know. He later called and explained what the issue was and what needed to be done. $500+ later and the car still has the same issue. I took it back let him know the issue has not been resolved. He examined the car then stated NEW repairs are needed other than what he previously done and it will be an additional $1300 to make the repairs. This is a clear example of someone taking advantage of people that don’t know much about the inner workings of cars. Initially he claimed he knew what the problem was and assured me he fixed it and obviously that was false now it appears this is an attempt to trick a customer into spending more money to fix the same problem. Be warned!
