Someone hit my parked car that I bought only a couple weeks ago, Mike and Robert worked very quickly and got it to look brand new. These guys are honest and kind. The work looks flawless!

Stay far away from this place. I came in this morning for a basic NY state inspection. Within minutes, they started throwing out a laundry list of “urgent” problems — driveshaft, tires, brakes — basically everything you can think of — and tried to push $500–$1,000 in repairs. I told them I wasn’t doing any of that and just wanted to leave. Instead, they kept insisting my car was “very unsafe” and continued trying to pressure me. They went ahead and failed my inspection anyway, wasting my $37 for nothing. At that point, it felt less like an inspection and more like a setup. I went straight to another shop right after. They checked the car, passed it in under 5 minutes, and confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with what the first shop claimed. So either they’re completely incompetent, or this is how they do business — fail you first, scare you, and hope you pay up. In a city like New York, where there are plenty of honest mechanics, there’s no reason to deal with places like this. Take your car (and your money) somewhere else.

This place has an amazing staff and very reasonable/affordable rates. Came in for some brake work and when they saw they could do something to help real quick, they did. Not only that but the work was done super quickly. Couldn't recommend them more!

One of my axles snapped off while driving to work in the morning after the huge snowstorm and my car was stranded in the middle of the road. Thankfully the guys at Bayside Auto Care, who happened to be like 20ft away from where I got stranded, came out to investigated the situation. The guys helped push my car into their shop, which saved me the trouble of towing my car! They replaced the broken axle and axle on the opposite side, to prevent future issues, within a few hours and even provided a warranty for the parts. Thank you to everyone at Bayside Auto Care Corp. for your help and service!!! Very quick and professional!

12/10/2025 “I strongly advise against using this repair shop.” 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ I honestly don’t understand why Bayside Auto Care has such high ratings. Two years ago, I had my brake rotors and pads replaced through Michael. The very next day, my car made a loud metallic noise—and he just said “no problem.” I barely drive 2,000 miles a year, mostly local school runs, but the noise kept getting worse. Today, another shop told me the parts were cheap and unsafe—and needed immediate replacement. A second opinion confirmed it. This is unacceptable. Bayside Auto Care deals with people’s lives and must take responsibility.
