I went to Bayridge Honda for an oil change. I kept smelling an odor of fumes while in my car. I was about to get back on the highway when I noticed black liquid beneath my vehicle. I opened the bonnet and the oil cap was missing, oil everywhere over the engine ...a mess. I take my car to the dealership to ensure safety and reliability that work performance is paramount and customers get honesty in the deliverance of service for peace of mind. I am disappointed, hurt and left insecure with your service. I am not sure if my vehicle I left in your care all these years, will ever be the same again. I only drive Honda vehicles and has purchased numerous Hondas from Honda dealerships. I am lost for words in your actions as my safety and my family's safety was jeopardized.

I purchased a Honda vehicle in July 2023. Within less than one year, the interior door panel trim started to bulge and deform. In addition, the exterior window weather stripping has also warped and come loose abnormally. These issues are clearly not normal wear and tear, but rather defects in material or installation. Since July 2024, I have contacted Bay Ridge Honda’s service department multiple times regarding these problems. However, I have received no response or follow-up to date. This lack of accountability and customer service is very disappointing. A vehicle that is less than one year old should not have these kinds of defects. I request Bay Ridge Honda and Honda corporate to take responsibility, inspect the vehicle, and provide proper repair under warranty as soon as possible. Photos are attached for reference. If this issue continues to be ignored, I will consider filing formal complaints and sharing my experience on multiple platforms.

View on Google***Update***A few days after the safety recall was performed, I went and filled up my gas tank. I smelled a strong gas smell after I filled up and drove away. I figured I may have spilled some gas accidentally. F few more days pass and my “check fuel cap” light comes on. I adjust the cap, take it off and put back on and still, the light is still on. I finally bring to my mechanic and he does an evap “smoke” test and sees that there is an air leak coming from where Honda replaced my fuel pump. Apparently, they did not tighten the screw on cap holding the fuel pump assembly to the gas tank. I was charged $150.00 to have that fixed from my mechanic. I wish that Honda could’ve checked everything thoroughly before giving back a vehicle to a customer. Not very happy about that… Brought my Honda HR-V in for a safety recall at 10:00AM. The safety recall was to change out a fuel pump that may be defective. Didn't have to wait very long to drop off the vehicle and speak to the Honda service rep Li. He was very courteous and explained exactly what was going to happen, how long it would take and answered my questions clearly and detailed. I received a text of the inspection results which I was able to review before I came to pick up my car a few hours later.
