I had gotten a flat tire, and put my donut on and my donut blew mid drive toa tire spot lol, they were closed and it said they were open but weren't. Barney's was down the road told me how busy they were but to get there and they will help, they had me out in 15 mins. Great place to go for car care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been taking my car to Barney's Service Station since I got my first car many years ago, and I can confidently say it's my go-to spot for all my vehicle maintenance needs. Located conveniently on Horace Harding Expressway in the Oakland Gardens/Bayside area, this place stands out in a sea of impersonal chain stations. What really sets Barney's apart is the genuine care and professionalism of the staff. From the moment you pull in, you're greeted with friendly faces who actually take time to explain what your car needs—no pressure, no upselling, just honest advice. The mechanics here clearly know their craft, and it shows in the quality of their work. I've had everything from routine oil changes to more involved repairs done here, and every time I've been impressed by how efficient the service is. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, which speaks volumes about how they run their business. It's refreshing to find a local business that still prioritizes customer service and quality workmanship.

Sharing for awareness, I left my car to have a headlamp changed. They chose a more labor intensive approach without warning and charged me $91 for something they said would be $20.
