Went for Motorcycle inspection today (Go Tuesdays 10am-12pm for walk-in). Was out of there quickly with polite, professional service from the owner. I appreciated that he was kind enough to also take the time to patiently talk to me about an issue I'm having with my car.

The only competent place in Queens. I got a 2002 Mitsubishi a few months ago. These old cars have a problem connecting to the DMV’s server so they can’t actually pass inspection. Two places in LIC couldn’t do it- ok fine. But the actual Mitsubishi dealership/ repair shop in woodside couldn’t - had us leave the car there for two weeks and still didn’t do it! Finally, we came here because of some post we found on Reddit, and it was so easy, they had it done in an hour or so- all they had to do was contact the DMV- they had the direct number to the correct department and show the guy a picture that the car passed and bam, I had my inspection sticker. Plus I went back another time to have them actually work on some things like the brakes and they were great- they gave me an accurate estimate and adhered to it, and I got my car back in a few days. Highly recommend this place.

So I have a lifesaver ignition interlock and had a appointment in the Bronx location, the place was closed due to con edison repairs .I called up lifesaver and they sent me to this location since my truck was not going to start at 12 pm . When I got there the mechanic or possibly owner was very rude and when I told him my situation he said to call lifesaver that his computer wouldn't be able to calibrate my device which is actually a lie. I was on the phone with lifesaver infront of his store for over a half hour and when I spoke to lifesaver they said I didn't need a appointment. I spoke to the mechanic/owner again He was so mad at this point sucking his teeth with a attitude he say I don't want to calibrate ur device I only make 24 dollars and my other customers are worth thousands. I get it but don't lie to me and have me waste my time in front of your store . Actually don't offer a service if you don't want to do it . People depend on this and need their car. Anyways I smiled and said thank you even though I traveled from the Bronx paid a toll 2 times plus 2 hours of travel . As I was walking away he was mumbling curses .

Horrible first line and brush off customer service experience from the from owner himself Giuseppe. Please keep in mind that not all potential customers will rip you off by not paying what is due. You need to take it down a couple of notches and not be so belittling. Just plain horrible!!

Called and made an appointment for a motorcycle inspection. They took care of me shortly after I arrived at the shop, Giuseppe (the owner) took care of me, nice guy. Although he doesn’t do any work on motorcycles, he gave some friendly advice on my bike. Thanks G! I forgot to ask if he works on foreign cars, I may visit him with my BMW for work.
