Audi Queens Service Center

I just had my 2024 A-6 in for service. As usual, from the moment I drove in, to the moment I picked up my car, l've dealt with the most welcoming & courteous nicest staff people, from the greeters when I drive in, to my service advisors, Jhael & Denise, to the young lady who helped me with the loaner, to the mechanic who gave me progress report videos by text & email, and especially to John, the Service Manager I've had my Audis serviced at Audi Queens for many years now - practically since they opened in 2018. I've always been treated like a VIP. And, the servicing never disappoints: it is always done correctly and promptly. Over the years, I've leased Mercedes, BMWs, & Audis. They are all fine cars. But I dreaded having to deal with dealership service depts? I almost preferred undergoing a root canal. But, not so since i found Audi Queens. The overriding reason I have repeatedly re-upped leasing Audis is because of the uniformly easy, convenient & positive experiences I've had with the Service Dept. of Audi Queens.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. I made an appointment to have them check out some CELS on a 2012 A3 I had just purchased. It was surprisingly easy to get one. It’s very fancy when you pull up and there are valets waiting to take the car. Then the service manager told me it would be $400 (or was it $500?) to have them review the codes and provide an estimate. Would have been nice if they’d told me this up front so I didn’t waste my time. Not recommended for average-Joe drivers unless you’re still under warranty. This place is clearly intended to service Audi’s high-end clientele, who can afford to pay top dollar for access to their specialized tools and VAG knowledge base. It took me a few days to make an appointment at indie garage Bruno’s, but they were great and the charges didn’t leave me gobsmacked.

Although I don’t have personal experience here, judging from the first review, it seems that Audi after-sales service in New York is generally not very good. Combined with my own experience purchasing a car and receiving after-sales service at Audi Brooklyn, the staff showed a clear lack of motivation and initiative. Personally, in situations like this, I would strongly recommend paying more attention to negative reviews.

We dropped off our 2023 Audi Q5 for a simple Audi Traffic Recorder installation and some minor scratch fixes. However, when we picked it up, things were off. The Audi Traffic Recorder 2.0 was installed somewhat strangely, blocking our view and raising safety concerns. When we tried to address it with Jhael(Service advisor), he brushed us off, insisting that's how it's supposed to be installed and not even trying to help. We told him it's not acceptable for us and asked for it to be moved higher, but nope. To top it off, we couldn't even connect to the camera with Audi UTI App to check. Jhael told us to call customer service in Germany for the dash cam they installed. He straight out told us to take the car! There is nothing they can do. That's how it's supposed to be installed; there is nothing he can do. When we brought it up the next day, the service manager's response was classic. He didn't even acknowledge the mess-up, just gave us the old "he’s one of our best employees, so I found it strange this happens. I understand you're not satisfied with the customer service you received." No kidding! But hey, he said they could fix it the way we wanted. Great, thank you for that! Back to the dealership our car went, and three more days passed before they got it right. Twenty-one days in total just to install a darn camera and fix a scratch, one of which was 5 inches and the other 2 inches. We got the car back, looked at the dash cams; they are installed perfectly, but the back one is off-centered 🤦🏽‍♂️. Look at the bright side, the height is perfect though. We gave up! we have no time for this nonsense. Talk about a saga. I've wanted to write this review for a couple of months now, but I haven't had time. But this is my funny and sad experience. several people mentioned to me that they don’t go to this service center because of this person and bad services I wish I knew that before. FYI Martin Hall, the general manager—I've already emailed you, and it's been months without a reply. I even cc'd you on my conversation with the service manager, and still, no response from you.

Audi Queens was an amazing group to work with. Their work was fast and efficient. The service advisor Denise was amazing from start to finish, providing me with all updates and answering questions I had. Needless to say, I will be back. Also the workers in Valet did a great job from the moment I came in, I believe the young man’s name was Daniel if I’m not mistaken. Big thank you to the techs involved in getting my car all repaired. Thank you all!
