The situation quickly became tense, as the owner of the other vehicle—an older man—was being extremely disrespectful toward me. Despite a crowd of men standing outside, not one person stepped in to defuse the situation or address his behavior. Then, about 10 minutes in, a mechanic from the shop intervened. He calmly stepped forward, stating that he knew both me and the other driver and reassured us that we were both good people who could work things out peacefully. What truly stood out was his ability to read the situation—he saw that I was distressed and, in a quick-thinking act of kindness, pretended to know me just to get the other driver to back off. His approach completely de-escalated a confrontation that was heading in the wrong direction. Later, I returned to thank him personally and learned that his name is Andre, the owner’s son. Andre is not only professional but also incredibly mature, respectful, and compassionate. He took the time to talk to me, making me feel safe and heard, even though I wasn’t a customer. If this is how they treat strangers, I have no doubt their actual customers are in great hands. After seeing their glowing reviews, I can confidently say they’ve earned my future business. This is my mechanic, he's very good and reasonable priced. He doesn't try to overcharge you to fix your car. I'd recommend him to anyone. Very honest guy, and pleasant.
