Allan Auto Repair

Two days ago the wheel hub bearing on my Toyota Prius broke at around 8 PM, and all the auto repair shops were already closed. These guys agreed to help me with the repair. They replaced it with a new one quickly and efficiently, even though they should have already been home by that time. They chose to help me and didn’t charge any extra money. I am very grateful to these professionals — they are kind, responsive, and truly care about their customers. Thank you for your work. You are the best!

Ever since I found Alan's repair shop over 6 1/2 years ago he has been my two go guy for all three of my cars recently he fixed a problem that I thought couldn't be fixed within 3 days turn around I needed my car back cuz I had a rental for 3 days. He will wake up early stay late and asked you before performing any necessary repairs that were not discussed before and this is why he's been my mechanic ever since I moved to Staten Island if you have any questions about the shop please feel free to ask me I have three different vehicles and I always trust Allan to bring them

Absolutely thrilled with the service at this auto shop! My car was in rough shape and I was worried it might be time for a new one, but the mechanic here worked wonders. They diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything in a way I could understand, and had my car running like new again in no time. The staff was friendly, honest, and transparent about pricing—no hidden fees! I truly felt valued as a customer. I Had taken my car to him like 2xs before for small jobs and no problem, UNTIL RECENTLY. I had a very disappointing experience with Allan's Auto Shop in Staten Island, NY. I was told the job on my vehicle would be completed in at least three days, which was changing a motor. I had given him the money for a replacement one, but it ended up taking almost a month. Throughout this time whenever I called or texted to check on the progress, I was met with frustration and attitude from the owner SMFH. Bad Business to me. I also felt that as a single woman, the owner took advantage of me, maybe in terms of pricing IDK, BUT definitely not prioritizing my vehicle’s repair. After paying several thousand dollars for the job, my car was returned with the check engine light still on. So it wasn’t fully repaired and I couldn't do the inspection. This caused me to miss the Memorial Day weekend with my family and a couple of important appointments for my son’s physical therapy, which I couldn’t attend because I didn’t have a vehicle. In the end, I had to take my car to ANOTHER Mechanic to finish the job and get it inspected. Allan knew about my situation & didn't care that I was driving around without an inspection & of course he had gotten my money already. I would not recommend Allen's Auto Shop. I will never go to Allan's shop EVER!! AFTER my bad experience. I won't lie Allan is a very good mechanic .

Allen is absolutely wonderful! No matter what problem you have, he’ll not only fix it but also walk you through the process step by step. He’s incredibly understanding and honestly better than the BMW service center. After BMW did an oil change, my car developed a leak. I took it to Allen, and he quickly spotted the issue and even communicated with BMW about the problem. Top-notch service, fair pricing — highly recommended!
