A TO Z AUTO BODY CORPORATION

I was recently involved in a hit and run and a friend recommended these guys. Come to find out the car is totaled so I didn’t need to have any work done, but I can say they dealing with this place and my insurance and all that has been, compared to other experiences with body shops/repair shops, post accident or whatever other reason has been a joy. Super nice, welcoming, easy and friendly. It seems I’m not then only one, their reviews are great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends. I went to grab my plates and they have a huge space, a bunch of lifts, etc. Seems they get the job done well, but also quick. They towed my car from the scene, called me when they said they would, all that - no issues and a pleasure to deal with.

My 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was hit while parked in front of my house. Rear wheel and rear quarter took the brunt off the damage. Body work and paint was good. Mechanical work not so great. The vehicle has air bag suspension and other needed to go back to the shop after repair. No big deal, I was waiting on trim pieces to come in to complete the work. I asked Junior (owner) if they did the Mechanical work in the shop or had it sent out. He replied they do all the work in house. So while he was resetting the vehicle ECU so air suspension would work properly I asked a few questions. I ask if the brakes were worked on and if the air suspension was refilled with nitrogen and he said it's not nitrogen filled suspension but it is.(They used air). I mentioned my brakes were going to the floor and he replied that normal after they are compressed. It's not, I mentioned maybe there was air in the line after they disassembled the breaks. He replied they didn't do anything to the brakes. Yet the invoice said different 🤔. Itemized bill included break bleeding. They also never mentioned the truck wouldn't pass inspection because of the ECU reset and costed me money and time having to go a second time after driving the truck for 100 or so miles , so it could be inspected. (Ny state inspection). Instead of just bleeding the breaks to correct the breaks and emergency break adjustment, he pulled up another Grand Cherokee and told me to try the breaks. I said I'm not going to argue about it. I will take care of it myself and left.

A to Z has been our family’s auto body shop for decades. That said, they recently went above and beyond. My husband purchased a Bunting 1939 patio glider, chairs, and tables. They definitely needed restoration. While there for a car related reason, I asked Junior if they were willing to take these pieces on. I gave him a piece of fabric that reflected the colors to be used. The attached photo shows the absolutely gorgeous results. I can’t say enough good things about the team there. All professional and friendly. I highly recommend them.
