I dont remember the last time I left a review because i firmly believe everyone has different experiences but in this case ill make an exception. 1.) If you dont speak Spanish you won't be able to talk to the guy who is doing the work and will be playing broken telephone between him and the owner...( that is if the owner is there) 2.) He said 2 to 3 days for tire install and rear pads. I week later, i call and he tells me the FRONT pads are done instead claiming they needed it. Whether thats true or not is irrelevant, you don't do work that wasn't asked for and still expect to get paid for it. While the work you did ask for hasn't been done blaming deliveries. I got mad and asked to have my front pads put back on and forget the rear. Now i can barely roll it back in neutral because he over adjusted something even after coming back to readjust, because at first it wouldn't roll back at all! No adjustments were asked for at all! 3.) My brand new $500 white walls have grease stains on one because the blue thats supposed to protect them from getting dirty during installation was wiped off for some reason. 4.) I had new $300 dollar mirrors on them and saw one sticking up like an antenna when the worker pulled the bike out, didn't think much of it at the time figured he moved it not to swipe the wall, just paid him and left. Turns out the wall is what moved it and theres is very noticeable damage. Cant believe he charged me 40 bucks for axle nut covers on top, claiming he deserves to get paid for his work. And didn't install the seat nut, didn't give it back either. I regret that i didn't have the time frame for my regular guy and went here.

People like George (owner) should not be in business. Here's why: I trusted 718 Island Motorsport with a full engine rebuild on my motorcycle. From the very first hand off, the bike didn’t feel right. I raised concerns immediately and returned the bike for inspection, more than once. Each time I was told there was “nothing wrong.” The following day, on the expressway, cars flagged me down because smoke was pouring from the engine bay and exhaust. I pulled over to find oil visibly leaking around the engine. That is a serious safety hazard by any standard. When I brought this back to the shop’s attention, the owner, George, was dismissive and disrespectful despite the clear evidence and the money I had already paid. There was no accountability, no urgency, and no good faith attempt to make it right, only more denial. George's work put me at risk and wasted my money. Avoid 718 Island Motorsport at all costs. Spend your money with a shop that stands behind its work and treats customers with basic professionalism. I rarely write reviews, but the experience with 718 Island Motorsport and George was so unsafe and mishandled that people deserve to know before they make the same mistake.
