After having another issue with my car (there was a clunking noise on the driver left side) I brought it to Raph again. He suggested it was the rack-and-pin, and power steering motor that needed to be replaced. I had other things that he changed that were done well, but the steering wheel shakes now. It is quite scary while driving 70 mph on the highway and having your steering not responding normally. When I showed Raph he responded that it's normal and the only other solution was to install a new one (which would cost more). I don't find this to be good service especially when it involves something so dangerous as steering ability. Mind you, this 2nd trip to Raph cost me $3,000. From my first experience with him, I did not expect this. I am disappointed and had to revise my review from 5 to 3 stars. Raph reached out to me to resolve the issue. He said he would check the price of a new rack and pin and then never responded until I reached out to him to help him fix this issue. He then said he will charge me the difference between a new and used rack and pin. However, he also wanted to charge me for the inner and outer tire rods as well as the wheel alignment (which I already paid for to have my vehicle in working order). This response, although I commend him for trying, does not suffice as I brought up the danger of the wheel responsiveness and his answer was the wheel alignment is wrong (done at Mavis) so he said he had it realigned free of charge (generous...it actually misaligned it again). But, I do wonder if he already knew that the rack and pin was the issue and wanted to save the trouble of the work. Nevertheless, I would take heed to the other review as potential up-charging minor repairs as another review noted because, now that I think about it, every issue is resolved by a full replacement (transmission, rack and pin) these are not cheap items and allow for large billing hours. But here we are $5,000 down for a vehicle that endangers my family. ------- Edit ------- Seems like the motor oil is leaking between the transmission and the engine now (my original 5 star review came from him replacing my transmission). With all the things happening. I must revise the rating down to a 1 out of 5 stars from 3 stars. I just got a call stating a hose to my radiator is leaking as well, which he had as a service for me as well. I advise going to another mechanic at this point. His Google reviews are manicured. The only reason I got a call back after he left our prior discussion to try to resolve the issue was because I reposted the review he asked to have taken down.

Huge thanks to Rafael for fixing my fuel pump! 5 stars! He explained everything clearly and the car is running like new again. He’s a great guy and clearly knows his stuff. If you’re looking for a mechanic who actually cares about the quality of his work, go see Rafael.
View on GoogleI received instant help when I called on a Sunday afternoon, rodents ate some wires and did quite some damage where I couldn’t even drive the car, I reached out to Ralph and he sent a tow to me within 25 minutes. Work was done on my car promptly, my car was ready on Tuesday for pick up. I also went to Ralph to install a headlight that was broken a week after and he installed it in less than an hour. 10/10 recommended.
View on GoogleWe had a good first experience, but the second time was a serious letdown. We brought the car in for a steering rack issue, and after getting it back, the vehicle is now worse. The steering wheel constantly shakes, and driving it feels unsafe—something that was not happening before their repair. We also asked them to check the shocks, springs, and tie rods and were told everything was fine. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. A second mechanic showed us in person that all of those components are worn out and need replacement. Missing that many major issues—and sending a customer back on the road with a car that feels unsafe—is unacceptable. We now have to pay again to fix what should have been properly diagnosed. We’re honestly just relieved we caught this before something worse happened. Would not recommend.
