I brought my car in for a New York State inspection. The vehicle had passed inspection in New Jersey without any issues approximately four weeks earlier. After leaving the car at the shop for several hours, I was informed that multiple repairs, including tire replacement, were allegedly needed at a cost of about $1,500. I declined all recommended repairs and picked up the vehicle. Immediately afterward, I noticed severe braking problems that had not been present before. The brakes became extremely noisy, the vehicle began shaking during braking, and braking performance appeared significantly reduced. Because of these concerns, I took the car to another inspection facility, where I was told that the vehicle's inspection monitors had been reset and that I would need to drive the car for several days before an inspection could be completed. During that time, the condition of the vehicle continued to deteriorate. The noise became much louder, the shaking worsened, and the brakes felt increasingly unsafe. I am very concerned because these issues appeared only after the vehicle was serviced at this shop. I do not know what work was performed during the inspection process, but the condition of my car after I picked it up was significantly worse and, in my opinion, potentially dangerous.

Warning! Warning! Warning! These people removed the brake pads from my car because they wanted me to replace them with their own parts at a significant cost. The brakes nearly failed, and I was close to being involved in a serious accident. I discovered this when I had the brakes inspected. Unless you contact me immediately to explain why this was done, I will take serious action, discourage others from using your services, and report this matter to the appropriate authorities. This statement is made solely for the safety of others and is not intended as a threat. You have my phone number. Please call me immediately to resolve this matter. Thank you

View on GoogleI wont trust this guy, carry the van for a noise when you press on the brakes. I know what the brake felt like before and have common sense to know if a brake is working good... the brake was good, only had a noise complaint when braking. I call this guy to find out if he was finished with the van for pick up, he told me yeaaa....finished worked on the brake and inspection, just have to work on the tire. When i picked up the van, the brake had a big gap before braking or slowing down, i saw it right away....he told my office...that he never worked on the brake, only the inspection and the tire....i took the van to another mechanic, my mechanic, and he said the spring was missing, they replaced the brakes, and the brake reverted to the way it was, but the noise was still there, proving that i never had a brake issue to begin with prior going to this mechanic, and someone had to remove the hub to get access to the spring. I had a political sign in the van, seem like it was done on purpose...but saying he never touched the brake, yet it magically got worst than when i went in....like i was born yesterday, and do not know how brakes works in a vehicle. Same day i picked up the van, a tank fell on my right side foot, as a sign.....do not drive this van. Furthermore, you passed an inspection with my brake having a big gap before braking???? Which wasnt there beforel!!! Always get a second opinion and trust your instinct...
