Lindfield transmission & repair

It took them a month from diagnosis to repair. They had the part on site for two weeks. They only got to it because I had called and complained about the timeline. Then they turned it around and were telling me things like I can’t wait to get this car done just to get you out of here. Were being rude and intimidating. They also used every excuse in the repair shop manual. He never checked with the transmission supplier to make sure they did everything that was recommended. They had a gasket leak that they didn’t take the time to change and tried to make me feel bad for them having to fix their own mistake. Also my brakes are shaking and pulsating because it sat at their shop for a month. I have to speak up for the other customers they must have done this to that never said anything. This was the worst experience with a repair shop I,ve ever had. Please beware.

Very happy with services and attention Lindfield provided me. Had to have my son’s car towed there as he is away at school nearby. Stewart was a pleasure to work with and I felt like I got excellent and honest service, especially considering all my interactions with them were remote. My son said the car drives like new.

We brought our car in to get an oil and filter change and lube. We asked to have the brakes checked. It turns out a previous mechanic had improperly installed one of the front calipers. Stewart sent us photos of the problem and said it would be fixed. Even with the extra work the car was ready for a 1 o’clock pickup as we had requested. Once again thank you Lindfield Transmission Repair.

I needed some rather serious surgery so I figured this would be a good time to send my truck to the garage for necessary repairs. The good folks at Lindfield Transmission and Repair made every effort to have my truck ready so when I was able to resume my work the truck would be ready. It turned out that the parts needed were not readily available but Lindfield Transmission and Repair after trying several parts suppliers were able to acquire the parts and they did deliver my vehicle with completed repairs in a timely manner at a price that was fair. Most importantly I am confident the repairs were done professionally and I know Lindfield’s will stand behind their word. I recommend this local business to anyone needing vehicle repairs. Mike Miers
