I bought my duramax heads to these guys about 1 year ago to have them decked as I was doing a head gasket job on my truck. Their machinist found the heads were pitted and had to be cut .010", which could potentially cause issues with piston/valve interference. To remedy this, he proceeded to calculate the required distance the valve seats had to be cut back and went on with the work. I got my heads back nice and clean, threw them on the truck and I'm happy to report that 20,000 miles later she's still running good! I have found it extremely difficult to find a good machine shop these days, and can confidently say that the guys at Motive 100% know what they are doing. Fantastic transparency throughout the process as they allowed me to talk with their machinist directly which I really appreciated. Will never hesitate to use Motive for future machine work I need completed.
