Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I had a great experience at Valvoline for my oil change. The entire team was efficient, welcoming, and clearly knew what they were doing. Joseph stood out in particular—he was very friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly without trying to upsell or rush me. The service was quick, smooth, and stress-free. I really appreciate the honesty and customer service here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this location!

From the moment I arrived, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I only waited about five minutes before getting into the bay, which was impressive. They walked me through everything step-by-step, showed me the dipstick and filters, and clearly explained what they were doing the entire time. I really appreciated that they didn’t pressure me to change anything or buy services I didn’t need. The team was pleasant, efficient, and very clear in their communication.

The gentleman that work in the mahopac valvoline off route 6 are just the most helpful informative group of hard workers. They answered all my questions and checked all the fluids I requested to be checked during my oil change visit. They even checked my tire pressure per my request this was the most stress free vehicle appointment I’ve ever had.

Came to get a simple oil change. A young man in an Altima was here for over an hour at least getting work done on his car. No one spoke to me I had to speak to them about it. I have my 3 year old with me. They were training someone and no big deal I get that. But this isn’t an auto body shop this is a place to get your oil changed. This young man was charged 39 dollars for the same exact 100 dollar thing I am getting done. There was another young man waiting with me for over an hour too and they wouldn’t allow him to step in his car to get his coffee. Unsure why you can’t stand on their floors but that isn’t my issue, things happen but this wasn’t a great experience.

My fiancé and I came for an oil change after work about 5 PM, Mike was not only extremely friendly and personable, but also let us know the air filter that another big chain just told us to replace was actually still in good usable condition! He was very educational and we appreciated the interaction. It was very quick as well. Thanks!
