M-Spec Performance

Steve was great in handling my car. Had the tires replaced as well as an oil change on my G87 2024 M2. Along with a full health inspection of the car. Price is very competitive and fair. Turn around was also in the same day. I will be taking my car there more frequently after the factory warranty is up !

I bought a 2022 CPO X7 from a BMW dealer in October 2025, and for peace of mind I wanted an independent PPI before going through with the purchase. I reached out to M Spec, and working with Steve and Pete has been excellent. They went through the car in detail during the inspection, kept me updated throughout the process, and recently handled some needed maintenance with the same level of care. Even though I probably still would have purchased the car, having M Spec’s assessment made me feel like I had a knowledgeable team in my corner. M-Spec was fantastic from start to finish. They worked on my 2008 E93 M3, including a rod bearing service, and their expertise with the platform was obvious. Communication was excellent throughout, pricing matched estimates exactly, and they were thoughtful and transparent about what actually needed to be done—equally clear about what didn’t need attention based on the car’s condition, history, and my use case. Excellent experience and service at M-Spec. This was my first time bringing my 911 to this shop and I was very impressed with the courtesy, professionalism and text/email updates. They performed a 50k mile service and resolved a rough idle that several other shops had failed to remedy. Steve and Pete shared all pertinent data from their diagnosis to ensure I felt comfortable and understood their recommendations for services.

Like many others out there, I willingly bought a used BMW without a PPI. I was offered a great deal & warranty with the specs I wanted and decided to opt out. Nonetheless I got one from M spec after the sale to get a good base line and prioritize specific maintenance things. Steve was very kind, knowledgeable, and open about his process. His team found various leaks, worn out suspension components, and wear & tear. This is a 103k mile X5M; I was aware of the suspension & condition. Luckily I have warranty, and reached out to BMW. They only found 1 leak until I advised them to use M Spec’s inspection report. That alone should speak volumes. In the end, warranty covered all the repairs. Even if you get a vehicle from the manufacturer, and it gets their bill of approval, take it to M Spec for that PPI. I don’t regret my decisions as I usually do my own work, but I’m not familiar with german vehicles. I’m even considering bringing my other toys just for the info. Did I mention that it’s cheap & worth every penny??
