Cranes and Best Collision is "my go-to shop" when I need an Auto body repair work such as a collision damage or a comprehensive claim. Ed and his associates are outstanding and reliable. They are experts in communicating with insurance companies. They make the process easy and take care of all steps smoothly. Especially, they make my car like a brand new vehicle by checking other scratches on my car and doing touch-ups in addition to the body repair work. they charged me 140 dollars for an estimate on a water leak behind the driver seat. 755 dollars, to replace all kinds of moulding, appliques,door glass, trim panel, run channel. The receptionist was RUDE. I never went back for the work. Took it to Advent Automotive- it was only clogged drain holes in the sunroof. cost almost nothing. omg

In March, a truck clipped the driver's-side front corner, badly damaging the front corner panel. I drive a VW Atlas (SUV), so I'm not sure how the other driver didn't see me... but more to the point is that parts can be a little harder to find and repair work can be a little more finicky than some other models. From the moment I contacted them, Brenda kept me informed of the process of going through the other driver's insurance, including options for navigating timing of repair and helpful insight on securing a rental vehicle in the meantime. When one of the parts needed for the repair had to be ordered, Cranes and Best contacted me immediately with details of part delivery, estimated extension of repair, and further insight on how to handle our rental. By the time I made my way over to the rental place, they had already been updated. The work on the car was absolutely exceptional. I don't exaggerate in any way when I say that our car, which we bought (used) about three months prior, looked brand new when we picked it up. Ed's repair work was done with notable care and professionalism, the body was clean and shining (always helpful in New York winters), and the dash/console had been wiped down. Now, I know a lot of the cleaning is part of the package deal with reputable collision shops, but I've seen what a rushed job looks like. Every aspect of what I saw at Cranes and Best was professional and showed the same level of care I take in keeping our vehicle in good condition. When I picked up our car, Ed informed me of a small rust spot in need of patching. Rust is obviously not great news (again, especially with New York winters), and rather than using false-urgency scare tactics, he let me know that it's not urgent and gave me a good idea of when it should be touched up. Within a day I had pictures and an estimate of cost and repair time in my inbox. I'm sure you know how difficult it can be to find a good, trustworthy mechanic or body shop, and how uncertain it can be going to a new one. I highly recommend going to them if you have not found a great body shop. And if you have been going to a good one, they might just be an upgrade for you.

I recently had my car repaired at Cranes collision in Honeoye Falls after a run in with a deer. I was very impressed with thier professionalism and expertise. They provided a clear explanation of the necessary repairs a d completed the work quickly and efficiently. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful and I felt confident in thier ability to repair the damage. My car looks like it just came off the assembly line. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable auto repair .

Took my car here in July for repair of damage incurred when I hit a cat. (Cat lover's, the cat was fine, but my car was not - who knew the extent of damage a small animal like that could cause!). I can't say enough good about the experience. They did an excellent and timely job on the repairs, took care of insurance issues, were friendly and polite! I highly recommend them, and thank you Crane's! Fast forward to 2024. Another great experience with Crane's & Best Automative! It is so refreshing to deal with a business that is honest, trustworthy, gives great customer service, and does excellent work. And on top of all that they cleaned the interior! Still HIGHLY recommend!
