AUDI DEALER SERVICE vs INDEPENDENT AUDI SERVICE I recently took my Audi S7 to Giacomo Service and dealt directly with Angelo the owner after becoming completely dissatisfied—and frankly disgusted—with Audi dealer . I had originally brought my car to Audi dealer to diagnose issues with faulty sunroof and the air suspension and an unusually stiff, harsh ride over normal streets. After their inspection, a quick test drive by their foreman, and a $600 charge, their written report stated that there was nothing wrong with the sunroof except need to clean the rail and reset sunroof module or the Suspension or with the stiffness I had described. Leaving the dealership, I was convinced their suspension diagnosis was wrong as i still felt the bumpy ride in comfort mode . The subsequent video they sent of the inspection only added to my annoyance and frustration: showing how the mechanic rushed, through, barely checking anything, and casually stating there were “no issues.” Having lost all confidence in Audi dealer’s quality of service, I decided to seek out an independent specialist’s look at the problem . I went to Giacomo Service, a shop well-known for working on German and high-end vehicles. I spoke with Angelo, the owner, explained the standing problem and my frustration/disappointment with the dealership, and asked what he thought might be causing the suspension problem. Remarkably, he immediately identified the most probable cause and offered a clear, practical solution on the spot. I’ve just returned from picking up my car, and for the first time in months, I’m smiling—relieved that the issue was finally addressed properly after so much frustration with the Audi dealership, who to add insult to injury, after Giacomo’s correct diagnosis & fix refused, to refund me for their erroneous diagnosis and lack of performance . This episode caused me to lose trust and confidence in Audi Service in my area who after over a decade of my customer loyalty, has done nothing to improve the reputation of dealer service centers. For anyone living in New Rochelle or the greater Westchester area, I highly recommend Giacomo Service on 2107 Palmer Ave , Larchmont and its honorable and knowledgeable management.

Zero(0) star. Thought this was a friendly neighborhood business oh boy was I wrong. Not a car gal myself and when boss told me labor cost for replacing rear brakes with my oem parts would be $549.99… felt like high but thinking who would scam anyone for a rear brake job, and it was a Friday afternoon. …Went ahead and got it done. Over the weekend did some research on YouTube and found out it’s a 1.5 hour job for replacing rear brakes at most places…. 🤔. Called the boss on Monday to ask for more details about $549.99 the boss said they charge more if I bring my own parts, he said “if you bring your own wine to a restaurant you pay a bottle fee right?” … well the $125 hourly rate and integrity are out of the window. Asked him to break it down how much “more” they charge if I bring my own parts he hangs up. The audacity to hang “code of ethics” on their wall, lol

Complete bait and switch shop - be aware and be careful. We had a tire delivered there for mounting, they posted one set price on Tire Rack's site ($30), then told us we had to pay $100 to have the "low tire pressure" light reset...it's clear on the pricing that it is included. They turned something simple and easy into a frustrating and head scratching moment. We won't go back. I'm sure they won't miss us, just be careful if you're looking for a local mechanic.

I’ve been looking to have a custom lift installed for 6 months now. I’ve been to 4 other shops and practically ran out out of there for a number of reasons “none were good and scared the hell out of me!” I decided to call Giacomo Service station and the owner picked up on the 2nd ring. A very friendly voice said hello “Angelo”..I explained to Angelo what I was looking to do with my Rav4. He said come up to the shop, let’s look at what you want done and he and I can decide if I want the work done and if he wanted to take the job, not many shops I know of have ever lifted a RAV4 in the metro area. I went the next day and immediately a pone meeting Angelo I felt super comfortable, no pressure, and super confident he was the one to do this job! He took his time with me, talking about the job, he looked at all the Manuals and took inventory of parts I had to make sure all was 100% He then took me to his shop and showed me around “NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THAT!” Very clean, very organized, all modern equipment and in orderly! I’ll shorten things up a bit, he not only installed my lift Professionally, he installed all my off road tires, did a precision high speed balance of precision drive force alignment and handed me back my car without a scratch, and a job done perfectly beyond what I actually expected! And the price was very reasonable for all the labor involved! Angelo, I can’t thank you enough, I’m a super stoked, super happy customer! And a new customer for as long as you serving cars, SUV’s, trucks.... Thanks again! James

Just got my 3 series back from Giacomo Service after having it towed 5 times between two mechanics and the BMW dealership. No one could figure out why it wasn't starting. After two weeks of worry and fighting with the dealership (which tried to sell me parts i didn't need), I was running out of ideas. Giacomo fixed my car in two days and got rid of all my engine warning lights on top of it. Very happy with the service and the price, highly recommend.
