Classic Auto Wash

Inept management probably will never go back. Paid $18 for their touch free car wash the car wash shut off halfway through, the gate opened so I left pulled around and talked to what supposedly was a member of management. Took them an additional 10 to 15 minutes for them to come out asked me if I was OK with brushes on my car, obviously I’m not as I’m going through the touch free bay. They rewash my car, which I think it’s all good, except it’s not they gave me the bare-bones wash and didn’t even give me what I paid for. I’m disputing this transaction with my card company. This is absolutely a rip off. I would not recommend anybody goes here for anything. Having worked in the car wash industry for quite a minute. This is not a way to handle business, save yourself the time, money and effort and go to Hoffman car Wash in Amsterdam or Gloversville, they provide a much friendly service with people who are actually glad to be at work. Thanks for taking my money.

I enjoy this car wash. It’s right across the street from my work so it’s pretty convenient for me. I go nearly every day. Haven’t had any issues with the staff or management. In fact, they’ve been pretty friendly. I like the guy who tells me to have a blessed day. Haven’t noticed any scratches or dents on my vehicle thus far, I check every time just to be safe. If you’re debating between this one or Hoffman’s, they’re pretty similar. I’ve tried both out. I will say, it’s a 50/50 chance that their reader picks up my license plate and I do wish they’d use a windshield sticker like Hoffman’s instead.

Thank you so much Nick!! There was an issue with the card machine on the 24hr touch free bay and he went above and beyond to take care of my wash, even though he was busy doing snow cleanup, he took the time to help. Such a nice and caring young man!

This was my favorite car wash. The vacuums always worked, which was great and I went through the wash multiple times a month the last time I went, the brushes scratched my car terribly and left a ton of damage. I brought it to the workers right after it happened and the manager ended up calling me back, saying it didn’t happen there when it clearly did. I’ve been asking to get in touch with the owners, but nobody has been reaching out to me. the manager was very rude and has not been helpful with this situation. I’m not sure how to rectify it without starting a police report for the damage.

Went here years ago when I moved out here. Was immediately turned off after going through the wash. My car was left covered in soap and stuff all over. Fast forward to today...they are fully renovated! Thought I would give them another try.....bad idea! Went through the wash, and guess what?? My car was still loaded with soap and just, NO. You put people through to it fast. They do not get rinsed right. They do not get dried right. Total sham. Go to Hoffman's down by Walmart.
