Habberstad BMW of Bay Shore Service

Had the mobile service with Derek and he was amazing. One of the most kind humans i have come across.I had my oil change done at my house for my X5 and did not have to go into the dealer which was a big convenience.No car wash but more then willing to compromise as i was able to get this done while working from home!

Had an issue with a tire and Tameko Maxwell went above and beyond to help. He was consistently professional and worked on a weekend all the way up until closing, making phone calls on my behalf to insurance. Great communication and made me feel comfortable with the process. Would definitely recommend

Avoid bringing your BMW here for any type of service. Their entire service department is sleezy and dysfunctional. No one has any clue what the going rate for any type of service until they get you in a chair in front of their service team. Luis is the worst of them all. He speaks in a condescending manner, over inflates the initial pricing so he can seem like the good guy when he “brings it down”. Luis is the epitome of a slimeball car salesman, and he doesn’t even make the sale. He refused to hear me when I advised I’d had a BMW service tech look at my car, and wanted to run a $500 diagnostic. After a little back and forth he said he can do it for $295. Only to discover the ACTUAL price for a diag IS $300. Disgusting practices in that service department. Avoid this service team like the plague!!! They will happily bleed you dry, talk down to you, and treat you like a pauper all while wearing a smile. Despicable.

I never go anywhere else because Habberstad stands behind their work and it’s always been smooth service experience. Luis has the incredible ability to know many many models, their years and specific details to each one. It’s stress free and not nearly painful to the wallet compared to relying on mechanical work by a rando shop in the area. This is what sets Luis and Bay Shore Habberstad apart from the rest.

Such a disgusting scam place. I am so disappointed by their customer service. Went in for service dropped off the car there for a week and when I received the car i saw a scratch on my passenger door and curb rash on my passenger front wheel. Called my service advisor, didn’t answer my phone call. Left a voice note, never got back to me. Since they’re closed the next day, I reached out to them again the day after. My service advisor said he will take a look at it and get back to me. He got back to me telling me his manager said they cant do anything because I reported after a week. I don’t understand how it is a customer’s fault if they cant answer the phone calls. Never going back to this place and i prefer my readers to not go to this scam place unless you wanna get service like these and also hurt your wallet.
