It is amazing the variety of things they sell in there and still have good prices. It is the original store that covered your needs long before the mega stores. It is family run, neighborhood supported, and providing pretty much most things you need without having to leave town. Besides being a mainstay of the community, visitors would love the feel of going back in time to prices on the items (finding older stickers mean older prices) and no fancy scanning.

Funny I didn't know this was the actual name of the place. Everyone just calls it Charlie's. He has everything. You want, hot dogs, 10 penny nails, oil lamp wicks, bread, milk, galvanized washers, tools, wading boots, baby chicks in the spring. I think you get the picture. If you go to another store looking for it and they don't have it they inevitably say try Charlie's. Just don't do anything to get him riled up. "No soup for you."

Best hardware store in a 50 mile radius! If Charlie doesn't have it no one does. If your in need of something to get you out that home owner or apartment pinch I advise you to head right to Hobart hardware for your needs. Time for searching is wasted time you can be putting into solving the problem. Don't waste the time on your search Hobart hardware will have what you need. I can guarantee that.

They have more items than many much bigger stores, and a very diverse mix of stuff from food to gardening to construction to hardware to gifts and toys. Best part is the owners Charlie and Amy are the nicest people and always have knowledge to give on every subject you can bring up and need assistance. Sherry the longest running employee goes out of her way to help with any thing. I have patronized this store for 30 years. I buy local, support local hands down over big box stores.

I have to say this place is awesome. They have a little of everything. If you are a prepper visit, if you are a pet person visit, if you're looking for that little unique Hardware item visit, and if you are new to the area this is a place to put on your list for fun and unique items as well as many Essentials you may not find just anywhere.
