I recently had a collision repair done at Schuberts, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Steve was awesome and such a gentleman, he was transparent and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company, which made everything stress-free. The repair work was flawless—my car looks and rides like the accident never even happened. I highly recommend this repair shop for anyone needing quality collision repair! Great customer service and top-quality craftsmanship.

Our vehicle was hit by an individual that took off and never stopped, we filed a report and started the process of the repair through insurance, we chose Schubert’s based on the reviews and proximity to our house and we were so glad that we did. From start to finish the whole process was easy. They did the insurance inspection and documentation, scheduled the repair and explained what was going to be needed for the repair and the estimated time frame. We received updates regularly and they were able to get the car back to us just before Christmas, a few days earlier than the estimated repair time frame. The work was impeccable. Paint color matched and blended perfectly, and the car was returned to us very clean. I hope to not get into any accidents again any time soon but 100% I’ll be bringing it back to Schubert’s if i need them.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My family had our vehicle repaired at the shop through GEICO as a preferred auto body repair shop. A few months later, multiple sensors were going off in my car, which we then followed up with the Mercedes dealership in SMITHTOWN. And I’m mentioning smithtown because I’ve previously had issues with their staff but out of convenience we used them to run a diagnostic. They can back with wires were “snipped” so they alluded that someone else who did work on our vehicle must of done it. So we returned to Shuberts asked if the vehicle could be looked at. When we followed up with them they told us they had spoken with Mercedes received a video and that they weren’t at fault either and the video obviously showed wires were snipped. They then alluded it was safe t light who repaired our windshield but they had done that about 5 months earlier to when Schuberts repaired our vehicle. Finally, I took my vehicle to the Mercedes-Benz dealership where I purchased it and I didn’t tell them anything and just ask him to please run a diagnostic. They came back with there were wires that were damaged. No one mentioned anything about wires being “snipped”. And I gladly paid them and everything has been repaired. This shop has ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for their work, they will even blame you ans make it seem you “sabotaged” your vehicle all to evade responsibility. Oh and they only take CASH. So you’re out of luck if you don’t have cash to pay them for their sub par workmanship and service. If GEICO refers you to their Shop, do yourself a favor and go to any other place but them.

The worst experience with an auto body. Steve, was entrusted with my 2025 Honda HRV after a front end accident. He returned a car that was never test driven and was veering off the road within a mile after picking up the car. I returned the car and in deed the car needed an alignment. He mentioned the car was hit in the front end and was not necessary to check other components. The next few days after I received the car for the second time the car clearly still had an issue with the steering wheel. He told me after driving it upon return there was nothing wrong with it. I should bring it to Honda. Deflecting responsibility or inability to diagnose . I brought the car to Honda and the car had a faulted steering rack. Steve mentioned all his sensors came back alright. Clearly, not capable of diagnosing a new car. Day after Honda returned my car the battery died. A week after getting the car back from Honda the horn was tested. There was no horn. Steve was called. Again, wasn't checked nothing indicated it after a significant front end accident. They rely on sensors over actual diagnostic with handing back a car without a test drive. Don't entrust that they're giving you a safe car. They'll place management of their faulty service on you to coordinate with your dealer to catch things they didn't catch. Then Steve will laugh it off when you in fact put Honda in touch with them, per his request. Don't bring your car here. Especially, if it's a new car. In total two months and 5 plus visits later. As I write this, i'm at Honda for their inability to safely inspect, service and manage cooridnation with the dealer the care of my car. Unacceptable.
