Verns Bakery

My partner searched Google Maps for places that shared the name of our pup, Vernon, and that’s how we found Vern’s Bakery. We saved it for the last stop of our Finger Lakes trip, and it was the perfect way to end our vacation. Important to note.. Vern’s bakery is cash only. So please make sure you bring plenty of cash. The pastries were incredible! The apple brie pastry was perfection with beautifully layered dough and just the right amount of apple. The raspberry pastry was also delicious, and my partner loved her blueberry cinnamon roll. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Vern’s nailed the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. We only wish we lived closer!

This place is a real gem! The bakery was absolutely delicious! The owner was really nice. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The smell of baked goods will grab you from down the street!

We were recommended Vern's Bakery by locals a little over a year ago and we decided to give him a try and we have been back probably 10x since. Every time we are in the area Vern's is our first and last stop. We took 5 boxes of baked goods home with us this past weekend. Vern is an amazing baker, super friendly and welcoming. We love not only his baked goods but the atmosphere he creates. We sat there chatting and having a pastry and coffee for over an hour on Saturday. We highly recommend you give him a shot if you haven't already!! His baked goods are perfection. We had a blueberry cream cheese pastry for breakfast and it was the perfect balance of blueberry, cream cheese, and sweetness. The fillings and toppings of all the baked goods are the perfect ratio and perfect amount of sugar. The cinnamon rolls are huge and not overly sweet, not drowning in the cinnamon filling or icing. It's simply all just perfection. Thank you Vern and we will see you again soon!! We recommend you to all our friends and family that visit the FLX.

Vern's is the BEST! Our family comes to him every weekend and he's nothing but kind and helpful. The BEC croissant is my favorite breakfast sandwich of all time. Highly recommend!

Lovely lamination in the croissants and overall wonderful selection of pastries. This is a small owner/baker shop, not a large cafe with staff. If you visit during the busy seasons, especially on weekends, come early!
