First time ever going to A&W in Goshen and they just earned a lifetime customer. My fuel door wouldn’t open on my 2015 Nissan Rogue. I went to Nissan first and they told me it would be $200 just to “diagnose” it. Mind you, I literally got gas the day before. I left and came here because someone recommended them. They took a look at it, popped it open in minutes, and didn’t charge me a dime. I gave the guy a Red Bull as a thank you because that’s the kind of service that deserves appreciation. Most places look at you like a dollar sign. These guys actually helped. Hell of a first impression. P.S ; It was a bald lightskin guy with a beard ! He deserves a raise !!! That’s my guy 🙌🏾

Great, professional diagnostic, work and warrantees. Wladec the owner had patience not only to diagnose and repair my 2016. Subaru Crosstrek, but as well to educate me on the matter. They replace the center differential on my standard 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. If you are an owner of Subaru vehicle, you will be glad to patronage their shop. Thank you!

For a transmission fluid flush and putting new transmission fluid in was $550 and for a repair on the rear main seal they were charging $2,000 all together that’s $2550 for a simple matter. Way overpriced and found an auto shop in Goshen “Elite Auto Works NY“ that will do it for $1350. I also wanted to see how much A&W would charge me for my friend’s head gasket replacement for a Honda Accord 2018 and they gave me a quote for $4,500!!!!! Way overpriced. “Elite Auto Works NY” quoted me $2,400. *UPDATED 03-19-26 5:10pm* I received a call from the son (Dominic) of the owner at approximately 2:20pm. He was arguing and being very thuggish with his behavior with me asking why I gave him a 1-⭐️ review and hung up on me. First he stated he was being honest with me which he obviously wasn’t. Saying to me I get free diagnostics to which I told him I have a $400 diagnostic reader that tells me the problem of the car so why do I have to pay you for something that I already know and that I brought the car reader to your shop to show you the codes?!? Also you asked me what my car reader says because it didn’t show on your reader so again why would I pay for that when you asked me what it says on my reader?? You’re correct!!! I don’t go back to your shop after you confirm issues when your quote is obnoxiously high. Also what you stated “I am happy you found a shop who clearly undercut their quote due to lack of workload and I hope you get a subpar repair on your awesome automatic, CVT, subaru wrx.” Was really hilarious by the way. First, why would an auto shop undercut their quote if they have a lack of workload? Wouldn’t their quote be higher because they aren’t making any business? Hmmmmm doesn’t sound like what your auto shop is doing, no??? Second, they don’t do subpar repairs at all they do amazing work but I went to you because my father knew your father for 20+ years. But after your dad’s friend was skimming money from your business for years and then you fired him, you guys were upping your prices. And now the last thing is I really don’t get by you putting my model and make of a car and stating that it’s a CVT (automatic) means anything but just shows you’re mad at me for being honest with my review. You can make fun of me for having an “awesome automatic, CVT, 2019 Subaru WRX” it’s okay to be mad. My father and I will never be going to this scam of a business anymore. I will never recommend people anymore to go to this place.

A & W is the best service station to go to, especially if you have a Subaru & they don't overcharge you or try to add on things that you don't need. I've been a long time customer & they treat me like family! I highly recommend A & W for all of your car repair needs & if you are looking for a good used car, they can even help you with that!
