DAIM Heavy Duty Truck Repair

I haven’t even been to the shop but just talking to the guy on the phone absolutely useless. He don’t want to do any groundwork as far as finding parts but he wants the truck driver to waste time bringing his truck over there and then probably be told he can’t fix it just to turn around and have to go find parking after the fact, but he wants you to do all the groundwork and wants you to bring your truck over there because it’s not worth his time to do groundwork poor customer service. I’ll never go to this place.

For the truck driver out there. Stay away from this repair shop. Our truck had a technical problem where we had multiple fault codes all unrelated with each other on the dashboard. With a little research and looking up the codes we were suspicious that the issue was related with ECM. Pat Oare Operation Manager did test on the truck and insisted that the problem has nothing to ECM it is a NOX sensor, where we told him to replace. We waited two days for the part to arrive. After replacing the part he told us he made mistake and he can replace another sensor to see if that would help. He also mentioned that the problem can be caused with One Box. However, he told us. He doest know. We called two Freightliner dealership and both told us. The problem is most definently related with ECM and it can be as simple as a cable replacement. We didn't want to any business Pat and his team. We asked for our bill. He wanted to charge over $1100 for not fixing anything in the truck. We came with the problems to his shop left with the same problems. Luckily our truck was outside he couldn't keep our property hostage. he lowered the bill by $180. It is not so much about the money. It is more the feeling of being screwed. I ddnt want to deal with him and his unprofessional attitude. I decided to pay the bill and go to place where they know what they are doing. In return the driver came back to the shop and found the stop from the truck (the peace you need take out in order access the sensors) and some other sensors that he took out of the truck were laying on the floor and he was gone. We are also missing peaces from the step. This is the worst mechanic experience I have ever had in my life. I would lie this message to reach to all the driver googling this company. To become their victims. We paid high with our money, time and most importantly nerves.
