Stewarts Shops

Walking up, you’re greeted by Stewart’s classic charm — right down to the occupied/vacant lock indicator (a nice touch of old-school decency). Inside, the restroom was spotless, with a “Wet Floor” sign bravely guarding a perfectly dry floor. The toilet was clean but slightly tilted, balanced on a couple of shims like a plumber’s afterthought. A small leak was visible near the base, probably from years of loyal service. Water temperature control was excellent — a full range from freezing to molten lava. The soap was unscented but left hands clean, and the bright white paper towels were a pleasant surprise (bonus points for not using the brown sandpaper kind). A sharps container on the wall was a considerate addition — a small gesture showing care for everyone who walks in. Overall, a very solid restroom for a busy Stewart’s. Clean, functional, and just a bit quirky.

Older gentleman closing tonight (6/13) needs to learn what a single scoop portion is. Dude gave me scraps. Do better.

Always excellent food, prices, selection, free tire air & restrooms, plus they do fantastic handmade pizza & subs, hand packed icecreams, hot soups & such, so it's a great spot to stop for a quick bite there or to go & same with their best coffee in the region! Gas prices are comparable self-service pay at pumps or inside. Ample parking & turn around space. I also love all the Stewart's brand items, better than so called big brand name foods & goods. My only complaint is that they closed the main downtown Hudson Falls NY store by circle near me, it was very convenient & now I have to drive 4 miles instead of walking 2 blocks. Everyone here misses that store, it was a great hangout for town events, quick stop in for food, treats or items not worth running to a big store for. It says how much I value Stewart's shops that I'll still drive the 4 miles rather than go to the local convenience store i hate!

Friendly staff, all the amenities you would expect from Stewart’s and a clean shop. My favorite Stewart’s in the area, I go out of my way to frequent this Stewart’s above the others.

I'm grateful for the gentleman who made my sundae tonight while getting bombarded with customers flooding the store. I thought that he was still very cheerful despite the chaos all the customers were causing but then I thought, they, all of the staff, are always great regardless and we appreciate it.
