I had a blowout on the highway Mike K was dispatched to me. He was excellent in communication while I waited and when he arrived he took care of my vehicle like it was his own. He towed it to Subaru of Roslyn (that was my mistake) Roslyn Subaru is the worst dealership I have dealt with. I called Back Mike k to pick up my car and take to Hunnington . Subaru. He had all good information on how I had to call Subaru Roadside to have him dispatched again. It was a pleasure dealing with Mike K.

My landscaper's Bobcat came off the ramp going up to his truck, and ended on its side at the end of my driveway. I called Charles Schmidt Commercial Towing and spoke to Chuck. He said a tow truck and a flatbed would be here in 10-15 minutes. Barely 8 minutes later, the trucks arrived. They did a fabulous job uprighting the Bobcat and getting it onto the flatbed for the trip to Glen Head. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience! The 2 techs were delightful and really good at their tasks. Chuck and Steve are wonderful too! Would heartily recommend Charles Schmidt & Sons for all your commercial towing needs! Seriously. AMAZING experience with excellent customer service!

Bret is an awesome person! So professional and down to earth. He rescued me off the side of the LIE tonight! He got there in 10-15 min ! I was so happy about that since I felt nervous being stranded there. I could tell right away by his demeanor he was a pro. He had my car on the tow truck in no time and he was a lot of fun to talk to on the ride back. He definitely made my unfortunate situation so much better!! I’m lucky I got him when I called GEICO. I recently needed a tow for my Porsche Macan, which had a dead battery sitting in my garage. Anthony called me at 7:40am — before the service window even opened — to let me know he was ready and on his way. When I asked for a few extra minutes, he couldn’t have been more gracious. “Take your time, you tell me when.” That set the tone for everything that followed. Anthony arrived with a proper flatbed and professional-grade chargers. In contrast to a prior roadside experience that took over two hours of failed attempts, Anthony had my car started in under thirty seconds. He knew exactly what he was doing. He then loaded the Macan onto the flatbed with tremendous care — I watched how meticulously he secured the wheel locks. This is a man who treats your car like his own. Twenty five minutes later, my phone rings — it’s my service advisor at Porsche telling me the car had already arrived. I couldn’t believe it. Fast, careful, and professional from start to finish. I was so impressed that I called the owner, Charles Schmidt, personally to praise Anthony. Charles couldn’t have been more gracious himself — clearly proud of his team, and rightfully so. He told me Anthony has been with him for years and is a gem. I couldn’t agree more. If you need a tow or roadside assistance on Long Island, look no further. They didn’t leave me waiting forever for a tow truck, handled everything efficiently, and clearly take pride in the quality of their work. What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure everything was done right. Chuck is very reasonable to do business with, and his daughter Lindsay provides some of the best customer service around. It’s not always easy to find a company that combines reliability with great customer service, but they absolutely delivered.
