Can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone there is professional, hardworking and honest. Brought my car in because I had a nail in my tire. Turns out it was just a nub that didnt go through and the guys just pulled it out and didnt even charge me for it. Amazing.

We have been using Center Island for over 20 years. Frank and Mike are always reasonably priced, and will go out of their way to make sure they know our cars. UPDATE 6/9/25: Frank was able to diagnose and fix a starting problem that Mazda couldn't. I emailed John Paul, a Newsday columnist from AAA who suggested it was the starter, battery or alternator. Yup, it was the starter. Now it's fixed and hopefully no more starting issues.

We've gone to Center Island Auto Repair for about 10 years and have always been very satisfied and felt confident in their work. Recently we had an insurance claim, and our company wasn't the best but Center Island was. Really thankful for their expertise and honesty throughout the process. Would highly recommend!

These guys are honest and love what they do. Every customer that came in while I was there they smiled and made sure to explain the issues with each of their cars. My car had been giving me steering issues for days and when I came here they tried conservative treatment before replacing my entire steering shaft which worked and saved me a lot of money. I had shopped around prior to coming here and no one offered this option. You always want three people you can trust, a doctor, a dentist and a mechanic. And these guys can be trusted.
