This place reminds you that there’s no other place on Long Island who is as professional, dedicated, and hard working like Brian is. Did all my brakes on my GTI, made sure everything was perfect and it was since this man has a lot of experience working on exotics and specialty cars. Most importantly he is super honest and loves his craft. Highly recommend him

I almost never leave reviews, but Brian and the team at Islip AutoWerks absolutely earned this one. I brought my car in expecting a routine service and left wondering why I ever went anywhere else. Brian replaced my entire braking system, performed an oil change, thoroughly inspected the vehicle, checked all of my fluids and critical components, and even provided photo documentation so I could see exactly what was done. That level of transparency is incredibly rare. What impressed me even more was his honesty. I was fully expecting a much higher bill based on the quality of the work, but he actually undercharged me. I ended up tipping him because I genuinely felt like I owed him more than what he charged. Brian is humble, down-to-earth, and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. Pulling into the lot and seeing McLarens and Maseratis being serviced tells you high-end owners trust him, but he treated me and my car with the exact same care and respect. Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult. Finding one who’s honest, meticulous, communicates everything with photos, and charges fairly is almost impossible. I initially visited him after a disappointing experience with another mechanic who abandoned me. He assured me he could fix the issue and did so initially. However, after a week or two, I encountered the same problem. I texted him and scheduled a follow-up to discuss the recommended course of action. He suggested giving him a couple of days to research the issue. This was on Monday last week. I hadn’t heard from him and texted him again on Friday. Since he didn’t respond, I gave him a couple more days before writing this. Despite my willingness to be a loyal customer, he ultimately ghosted me. The lack of communication was disheartening and disrespectful. I’ll be seeking out another mechanic who is at least more transparent. He could have simply informed me that he lacked the qualifications to fix the problem.
