Walmart Auto Care Center

This was my first time going to this establishment and pretty good service overall! Made an online Walmart order for 4 tires and also got the basic package for installation, overall pleased ! They were on time with the appt schedule and I was out of there on roughly an hour and 20 minutes!

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable level of service and blatant rudeness I experienced today, March 26, 2026, when contacting your Auto Care Center. I called to inquire about the status of a tire order and to confirm whether the items had been successfully returned. The male representative who answered the phone was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. During the call, he aggressively asked me, "What do you want?" twice, despite my clear explanation that I was simply checking on an order status. I attempted to cooperate fully by repeating my sales order number and the associated phone number three separate times. Despite providing this information clearly, the representative claimed he could not find the record—even though canceled orders should remain accessible in your system for tracking purposes. Rather than attempting to assist me further or transfer me to a supervisor, the representative chose to abruptly hang up the phone on me. As a customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and a genuine effort to resolve inquiries. Being met with hostility and having a call disconnected by staff is completely unacceptable. I am requesting that you look into this incident and provide an update on the following: The actual status of my order and whether the tire return has been processed. The steps being taken to address the conduct of the employee working the phones at this time.

Two stars is generous. I scheduled an oil change Monday for Friday morning. I arrived early and was immediately told, “Let me check if we have the supplies.” That alone tells you how this went. Why take appointments for services you aren’t prepared to perform? They didn’t have the filter and simply asked if I wanted to cancel. No solution, no accountability. I offered to buy the filter myself and asked for a discount. Instead, I was told the appointment “couldn’t exceed 15 minutes,” even though my scheduled window was 11:30–12:30 and this inconvenience was caused entirely by them. Long story short, I left, bought the filter, came back, and they completed the oil change. Then at checkout they tried to charge full price anyway. After some back and forth and two of them pretending they were “confused”, they reluctantly knocked off about $20. Also they didn't reset the oil reader. Disorganized, dismissive, and poor customer service from start to finish. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else waste their time either. OR call ahead and have them check for supplies before hand but even that isn't guaranteed. The positives; the service was done rather quickly and there was a nice lately working there that complemented my car’s decor.

I arrived late for my appointment and my car was not received. The location was empty at the time, and I was informed that I would need to reschedule. I attempted to reschedule or cancel by calling them, but they never answered the phone.I'm trying to get a refund with Walmart right now. But the make it long and annoying. I called for 20min to let them know that I was running late to check if they can receive my car but nobody pick it up. Don't waste your time here. Nobody help you or care. I asked the app, and the app said it was okay to arrive before 8 PM and accepted walk-ins, but when I went, they said it was too late. So the app had wrong information, and they didn't provide solutions at the location either.

Thank GOD for Walmart! I never provide any reviews but I could not let O’Neal and Diego go un noticed for going over and above to help me and my boyfriend. Late Sunday night we were driving back from East Hampton with over 112 miles more to go back to New Jersey when the tire was losing air!!! We didn’t know what to do because all auto shops along the Southern State were already closed. I directed my boyfriend to pull off an exit that we had no idea would lead us to Walmart! My boyfriend was frantic and thought he was going to buy a compressor and maybe a patch to fix it himself. While he was in the automotive department, he saw a tire repair area and approached one of the workers. The mans name was O’Neal although the repair center was closing he was willing to stay to make sure he did the best he could. While waiting Diego made sure we were comfortable and showed us the waiting area and was very kind and helped to calm down. After all the work O’Neal did, he was able patch the tire and were on our way back to New Jersey! Please make sure to “Thank Him” and Diego and the remaining staff for going above and beyond!!! Not sure why the negative reviews.. I want to make sure that this store gets credit for hiring such a great team in the tire department. Big Thank You, we made it home to New Jersey safely
