Nick and his team at Checkpoint are awesome and very good to do business with. I recently had the big task of a full engine replacement on my 2014 Camaro SS after the original failed. Not only did Nick make sure the costs were reasonable, he went over my options in detail. He & Bobby made sure the job was done right, and they treated my car with care. I finally have my car back with a new engine and it comes with a 3-yr 100K warranty. It feels amazing, and I have no regrets about choosing Nick & Checkpoint Auto.

Check Point Automotive doesn't advertise; they don't need to as their workmanship, honest pricing, and client dedication results in a natural word-of-mouth marketing. Nick, the owner & operator, is personable and easy to talk to. If you are concerned or upset about something, let him know. There's an obvious pride in his company, and he wants the customers to know they are important. Whatever the issue, no matter who is wrong or right, he will do everything he can so you leave with the knowledge that you'll be back there for your NYS car or motorcycle inspection. Check Point also does complete car repairs for both foreign and domestic makes/models. Bring your car in for brake & tire replacements, wheel alignments, and all the other "keep it in prime and safe running condition" items. The waiting room is clean and cozy, with a large coffee making area and a water bottle machine. It's decorated with wall art, a tv, books, magazines, motorcycle models, and other little things to spend your time on while waiting. Even the bathroom is unexpectedly large, pretty, and spotless with thought put into decoration! 🤗

Nick & his whole crew are awesome. Kind and honest people doing great work. My husband and I have been here a few times for brakes & oil changes and always had great experiences with those. Most recently needed work done on my car after an accident. They did an amazing job on the car and were even able to get my deductible taken off. They really make sure you’re taken care of. Can’t recommend Check Point enough!!

Nick and his team just do everything right. I haven’t been to an automotive repair shop in a couple of decades as I leased vehicles. When I bought my current truck I decided to look for an honest repair shop and after reading Nicks reviews I decided to give him a try. His shop isn’t even in my town but I couldn’t be happier driving a little further. One year later with several oil changes, an inspection and some brake pads I am happy to report that honest, high character business people still exist. Everyone in the shop is polite, professional and always customer first. If you need a mechanic for small or big jobs, fancy cars or daily drivers, Checkpoint Automotive is the place.
