Firestone Complete Auto Care

Lug nuts loosened up front tire after less than 100 miles. I thought the noise was a wheel bearing. Exact thing happened at the Thruway store 7-8 months ago on rear tire. Lost a stud. 20 years never a problem at Thruway . Let it slide. Who would believe it? Less than 1 year for both. If you buy tires from any store I recommend checking the lugs. Unbelievable..... I've yet to be contacted. & what will that matter. Should I explain mechanics one 0 one? Double check bolts. I tightened them. I'm still in shock. And the alignment wasn't done. Rescheduling elsewhere. Bad air pressure gauge? Defective guns? Do they drug test their people? Perhaps they should Try checking with rachet or torque wrench. I can't be the only one. Time for another store, paid for lifetime alignment..... The 2 tires are fine. I've edited 3 times, 4 times. keep thinking of more to say. You've been warned.To be continued....

I was very satisfied with the technician who took care of me. 09 Larry did an excellent job and was very professional. I was impressed with his care of my personal property. I later found out it took longer than expected because others did not want to change tires on my new rims. Larry stepped in and did a fantastic job even putting the weights on the back side so they wouldn't show on my classic car. The aluminum rims he took the tires off of were treated with respect. covered and but back in my rim boxes.

Store Manager named Chuck told me I had to pay $120 for an alignment when I have the lifetime alignment plan with Firestone. I drive quite often and I’ve had many different repairs and many alignments within a year. I never had any employee or Store Manager tell me that I had to pay any type of money for an alignment even when I had car work done. I just put new tires on today and have to travel and their location was the only ones available at 1 PM to help me out today, but this manager is trying to get over and charge me. Obviously, this person does not appreciate the business I do with Firestone and the business that I bring to Firestone. This was a very selfish act and I don’t know why he would tell me this. I was also confirmed at my regular location that he should not be trying to charge me. He continued to actually say that if I drove like a normal person, I would only come once a year. Meanwhile, Firestone says once a year or every 12,000 miles. There’s no reason to compare me to normal people. What’s normal? Also, I told him to book the appointment anyways, but I’m going to Contact. The people I have worked with for the past couple of years and instead of booking the appointment he told me he will not book the appointment and to go where I normally go. This is not a man fit for Customer Service and management. This is not how you keep customers coming back and referring to more clientele. This post is not coming down until a corporate representative contacts me. This message will also be copied to Corporate.

I have brought 3 cars to Firestone in the past 10 years without any issues. I took my car in for an oil change and when I got home I realized that there were scratches that scraped off the paint on the hood of my car. However, it was the end of winter and sometimes salt can look like a scratch, I didn’t want to assume that Firestone damaged my car so I figured I would get a car wash and then reassess. After the car wash it was clear that paint was scratched off my car. I called and the guy who answered could not care less, asking if I use a snow brush to brush my car off and that’s probably what it’s from. Super frustrating. I stayed persistent that it happened while in their care. (My car is fairly new and I often look at it for dings and scratches from a previous bad experience.) The manager told me to come in so that he could look at it. The manager looked at it and said he’d file a claim and they’d handle it from there. I received a call and gave the info that was asked of me. I then received a email that stated that my claim was denied because I did not report it while in the Firestone parking lot and because no other cars called in claiming damage. What?! I called several times asking if my claim could be reassessed or if they could send me the footage from that day. No one ever responded back. So disappointing to see how poor their customer service is. Not a call back, voucher for an oil change or coupon lol. I’ve never had an issue and 10 years, so for that to be the response was shocking to me. My family and I will be going elsewhere going forward.

Scammers!!! You’ll go in getting one thing done and then they will look for something to mess with and then claim you need it replaced or fixed for hundreds of dollars 😂 the staff there are greedy and don’t have a clue what they’re doing, just breathing air for a paycheck. Went in for an alignment and I had purchased the lifetime alignment and they said I was never charged meanwhile I bought this 4-5 years ago, they looked at my car and said I needed 1600 worth of work done, YEAH RIGHT!!!
