Well anyone who owns a high end bmw x5 or x5 m knows how complicated these cars can be to work on , so i appreciate the techs @ bma excellente customer service on a big valve stem job, i just had them do for me .Now i have reset the clock on the x5 alittle longer since it has 100k miles on it and im trying to get another 100,000 plus from it but the only way to do that is by doing preventative maintenance. Hope this info helps someone that needs service from a great shop like BMA Specialists.

Finally got a nice day and decided to get under the hood and see my catch can disconnected and no longer mounted, my harnesses sitting on the engine cover with a zip tie basically a “just enough” engine swap because I decided to provide my own engine and parts and NOT pay the 10k the owner wanted to charge me for an N54 swap. Just a terrible experience overall. I can go on all day about the owner trying to rip me off but my experience was backyard mechanic service for dealership prices.🤷🏿‍♂️

Worked with Franco at their St James location. My sprinter reported a DEF failure and went into an 8 start countdown mode. The dealer charged me $400+ to diagnose the issue. Their prescription was an unfathomable 8k of work to replace most of the DEF system. Got a second opinion from BMA. Their approach was logical and empathic to my concerns and disbelief. In the end, they fixed it by replacing only the Nox sensors / filters and repairing some rodent chewed wiring. It was still expensive but I was never so happy to have only paid $2700. These guys are great!! The st james shop may look a little schetchy with lots of derelict cars scattered around their building. Don’t be scared though. These guys are trustworthy and excellent at what they do. I highly recommend them.

BMA is the place to go if you need quality and reliable work done on your car. I have been going there for more than a decade and I trust them with my BMWs. Jose and his team will provide you with honest advice on the repair and are very timely with the work done. Highly recommend them if you have BMW, Mercedes or an Audi.
