5 stars, no hesitation. Walked in today with a wiring issue, no appointment. Richie was swamped. He heard me out anyway, had me pop the hood, and four minutes later the problem was diagnosed, explained, and fixed. When I asked what I owed him, he waved me off. I live in Northern Virginia now. That does not happen there. I grew up in Cobleskill. Richie graduated high school with my older brother. I should have known better than to be surprised. If you need a mechanic who knows his stuff and treats you like a neighbor, go find Richie.

I can’t recommend Richie’s enough! My niece is away at school in Cobleskill, and just a week in her car broke down. She first took it to Monro, which was an absolute nightmare. We ended up having the car towed to Richie’s, and it was the best decision we could have made. He correctly diagnosed the real issue, saving us thousands of dollars. Richie was patient, honest, and extremely fair throughout the entire process. From now on, we’ll always be bringing the car to him.

I called Rich this morning in a panic because my car wouldn't start and I was getting crazy messages on my dash. He came to me within 5 minutes of my phone call and fixed it. Many thanks Rich!! He and his partner were both friendly and knowledgeable!!

I was in the area from out of state, helping my daughter while she recovered from a long illness. Her car needed work and an inspection, so I looked online, and chose Richie's shop after reading his good reviews. I'm so glad I did- they were right! Richie went above and beyond the call of duty to help me on short notice and was very kind and patient to boot. For the work he did and the time he spent, his prices were extremely fair. He is a really good mechanic, and trustworthy- won't do anything that doesn't need doing. My daughter will be taking her car to Richie from now on!

Excellent place had 3 broken wheel studs and couldn't get tire off to change them every other garage wanted 150 dollars and come back tomorrow but ritchies heated it so it would come off in 2 minutes and wouldn't charge me anything then I came back to get help seating the new wheel studs he had us back up and proof done and still wouldn't take money great people
