Bought the riding mower I wanted. Staff answered questions about operations and delivery. Delivered within 2 day window indicated. Again, he answered questions about operations and waited until I started mower correctly and assisted with seat adjustment. Awesome experience. Also, let me know that they would service the other mower (push mower) if needed.

I brought my Husqvarna 40 chainsaw in for service. When I brought it in, i said that it didn't run very well and the choke was broken . One week later, Josh called and said the carburetor needs to be replaced . Four weeks later, I went in and inquired about the chainsaw. Josh said that he lost the carburetor and had to get another one. Week five, I went to Josh and said that it wasn't ready .Week six I went in, and he said that the choke needed to be replaced. I said that it was the main reason it was in the shop, so I paid $105 dollars for it and went home. It still didn't run when I called and said that it would not start. The tech didn't even start it. Josh did reimburse me but I still don't have a running chainsaw Notice the black air hose that's supposed to be inside of the cover

I brought my older ATV to Pangman Outdoor Power at the beginning of September and was quoted around $400. By the time I finally got my ATV back, the cost had ballooned to over $700. The initial timeline I was given was a couple of weeks, but it took almost two months, and the communication was absolutely terrible. Not once did they call with updates—I had to be the one constantly reaching out to check on the status. They said they needed to order parts, which was understandable, but then the technician forgot to order them, further delaying the process. To top it off, they accidentally threw out my brand-new, fully functional battery. They only offered to sell me a new one at their cost, which still ended up being $40 more than what I paid for the one they threw away! And after all that, they wouldn’t even guarantee their work for any period of time. I will absolutely never go back to Pangman Outdoor Power and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. SINCE I AM UNABLE TO RESPOND TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT: I discussed all of this with my husband and was there every time he had to call for an update. The only reason the drive belt was free was because the technician forgot to write it up in the final invoice.

If you're looking for an overpriced labor rate and sub-par mechanics, this is the place for you. Wanna wait for months to have your equipment repaired, this is the place for you. Wanna have the same job done multiple times? This is the place for you. Want to pay hundreds of dollars for repairs just to have the same issue arise not even 3 weeks later? This is the place for you. Looking to get called out and laughed at by the owner for having an older, less expensive "obsolete" mower after requesting express service to remedy what is obviously a fault of this business and it's unskilled mechanics, this is the place for you. However, if you're looking to join the growing list of people who have moved on to way way better and more professional business and mechanics, I suggest you look up D+S in Howes caves. The labor rate, wait time and professionalism is beyond anything you'll get from pangmans in cobleskill. I will never use them again for any reason. EDIT* As of this edit, have yet to receive a call about my chainsaw despite repeated attempts to find out. they have had it for going on 3 months. And my weed whacker, the one they have had to repair handfuls of times for the same reason, just quit running again. This is now the 6th or 7th time I've had the same problem. And they don't seem to fix it. Always told it's bad gas, despite having a brand new fuel can to fill from. The lack of capable "mechanics" at this place is absurd consider the outrageous hourly rate they charge.

These folks are my "go to" when I need my equipment serviced or repaired. I purchased a snow thrower from them last year and I'm very happy with the machine. The folks there are low key but very focused on customer satisfaction. I recommend this business with great confidence.
