My car broke down today on the way to an appointment and I called Pete at Village Auto to come give me a tow. He was there within 15 minutes of my call! Prompt, kind, and fair priced. Would definitely recommend!

Great service, great people. We ran into trouble while on a road trip. Spoke with Peter who promised they’d be able to see us quickly and almost certainly solve our issue that day. Got towed in and Jim helped us out once we were there. Luckily our issue was a cheap easy fix. He talked us through the whole thing and we were back on our way less than an hour after they got the vehicle in. Highly recommend if you find yourself in a bind. Thanks so much!

By their own admission they're not experts, they're just self-taught mechanics. Took our truck in for brake issues. They did fix the brakes (the second time around). But when I went to pick up the truck it wouldn't start and they claim that's nothing to do with them. The truck started when we dropped it off, and had never had problems starting before. They won't fix the problem they caused. At a base level, where's their pride in their work?

I stopped in to get an inspection here today. Call me jaded but I was getting ready to be ripped off (since my experiences with mechanics over the years have been, ummm, less than stellar….?) But not even close with these guys. My 4 year old truck (which has almost 100,000 miles on it) needed exactly one tiny bulb to pass inspection. Cost for the bulb? “Either $2 or $3”. And did I mention the inspection took them around 40 minutes less than they said it would? Sadly, these guys seem pretty rare in a sea of less than honest mechanics (at least that’s been my experience). Excellent business, will come back anytime I can.
