The owner towed our car to the shop without our permission. It was legally parked. Did some minor damage dragging it without the key. It's a racket I hope to God your car never gets towed there. Then the guy said if he knew I had tow ins. He would have charged me even more. Shyster move. Not nice be wary...

Made an appointment last week to get my car inspected. I made the appointment LAST WEEK. Yeeterday (the day of my appt) I tried calling the shop close to 20 times, but every time I call them from my iphone I get a “user busy” message and it hangs up on me (picture attached). So, I still made the 30 minute drive out there (from Cicero) thinking maybe their phone lines were down or something. I show up and the place is CLOSED. A random guy from across the street came and told me the owner was “sick today” and to “come back tomorrow”. No, I don’t think I will sir. Any respectable business owner would have called his appointments for the day and rescheduled them. Instead I had a nice 80 minute round trip.

This place and Ed are a nightmare. He ruined the engine in our classic mustang. The original engine had to be pulled out and big repairs done. It ran fine when it went there. He lies, he spends 10 times longer than he retells you and over all cheats you out of your money. He repainted our car and left runs and streaks also simply forgot to put the stripe back on. He llost our radiator and our molding. Stay far away

I am more than delighted with the work that Ed did I my car today. I could not begin to say enough about him and his business. They were extremely helpful the price was extremely great and it was done in a very timely manner. My car will only go to Main Street Auto from now on.

Not a place to take your car for mechanical issues. Had our vehicle for over 3 weeks and no repairs were done. Finally had it running enough to take to a real mechanic and parts we told that had been replaced had not been. Spent almost 400 dollars on nothing. Body work the man knows what he is doing.
