I have an older Volvo s60 that was in need of repair. Mark (owner) was extremely helpful, quite fair and transparent about the necessary work required which was extensive. The mechanics are skilled, diligent and thoughtful in their approach to problems. They seem to be dedicated to their work and Pinky's, which speaks volumes for the auto shop. The office staff, are very customer friendly and help you through scheduling, availability and capabilities, supported by the culture of the business. I also trust them for a 5 year old bmw which gets servicing on external needs, such as oil changes, brakes and other factors that the dealership servicing department would easily charge three times, or more, the cost. Pinky's is a find, a "diamond in the rough". When you think about how auto mechanics, use to be, trustworthy, reliable and listening to you with simple explanations and patience rely on Pinky's. Rjz

It's been a well over a year but I'm only writing because my daughter almost brought her to their shop. I was reminded of the worse experience I've ever had with a repair shop. I'm' not going to make it long. Except to say I brough my Nissan Murano there when my engine light was on. Had the diagnostic check done and ended up fixing the catalytic converter. Next day or 2 the light is back on. I went back and was not only brushed off, but I recall the receptionist laughing in my face and then arguing with the mechanic. I'd gone to another shop and it turned out that the car has more than one converter. The car was old. there was no need for me to put $2,500 in the car if it were possible it was the other converter. Instead of being honest, he jerked me. Essentially I wasted money because I ended up junking the car 2 months later. It was NOT going to pass inspection with the light on. I could careless if they respond or not. The customer service, the arguing, laughing in my face was unnecessary. Go if you choose, but there are way to many other options.

Finally, after 25 years of owning a car, I found an amazing mechanic. I highly recommend Pinky's auto service. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. This is hands down the most trustworthy mechanic. When he sees something that need to be repaired, he shows you on your actual car, and writes it down on your receipt. Most mechanics say you need repairs that aren't necessary. At the bottom of my receipt, it shows recommended repairs AND why it is recommended. Mark explains your current repair and recommended repairs in an easy to understand manner. I would trust Pinky's to repair my mother's car, and have 100% faith that it is done correctly and will keep her safe. From the moment you walk in, until your vehicle is finished, the entire experience is a pleasure. The woman at the front desk greets you right away with a genuine smile. She is an amazing asset to this business. I'm finally at ease having an older car because I know it is in good hands. Thank you Pinky's!!

I Can’t say enough good things about pinky’s, my steering wheel in my old jeep started shaking and I first brought it to shamrock in West Babylon (my mother’s mechanic who she swore by) and they charged me 1700 dollars to replace the brakes, rotors, calipers and do an alignment and that absolutely did not fix the problem so i decided to do my own research and came across pinky’s since i had recently moved to Medford. Mark explained from his years in the tire business that I most likely just simply needed the tires balanced and an alignment which was a few hundred dollars to do and sure enough it completely fixed the problem. Me and my wife have had a few minor issues with both of our cars since then and EACH TIME THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. ….And not only is it fixed they typically get your car back to you by the end of the day. Mark always calls and explains what’s wrong and what the options are and helps out with the price any way he can. Stephanie at the front desk is always pleasant and gets you in and out and on your way. It’s sucha pleasure dealing with such competent people. Pinky’s is the golden standard….period

My fiancé brought their car to this place to get brakes done. However, once that was done, they decided to mess around with the headlights and told him that one of his high beam bulbs was out and could be replaced. They made it seem like it was an easy fix, but then called to say that they needed to buy this specific bulb and that it was gonna be more than what they had previously said. Then, they said they couldn’t even put the bulb so then we got stuck paying for the labor that you basically didn’t do and the stupid bulb that we can’t even use. This place is the worst, how about just do what people just ask you to do and that’s that. Never going to this place again and will tell others to not come here. Better off just going to the dealership, learned our lesson.
