Cortese Collision Center

I would rate this shop zero stars if I could. I own a 14 Challenger, car is garage kept, known for quarter panel rust from the foam dodge uses trapping moisture. I took my car to Cortese 10 years ago, when under the 5 year corrosion warentee, for 2 small rust bubbles in the quarter. I drove out twice that year and they took a bunch of pictures, I followed up with them several time's and they said they would get back, never did. After the corrosion was up I stopped back same thing. Fast foward to today, after taking my car out of storage I noticed it getting worse. I got a quote from another shop 6k per side, I should have taken the car to another mopar dealer.

I was not even going to look at cars at Cortese due to some not so good service experience, but a friend gave me a name of a sales guy so I figured I would give him a try. I was very pleased with Tim May. He was not pushy, he listened to my concerns due to my past experiences and he made me feel like a priority. I ended up buying a car, but the deal almost went south. we had decided on a price, but when we tried to close the deal a tire issue came up. So again Cortese was leaving me with a crummy feeling. I was giddy over the car, but this was a deal breaker. Tim fought hard for me and in the end we got the car. I feel it was almost fair. I would have preferred the original agreed on price, but I could see that the dealership can not give cars or tires away. After a lot of talking, prayers and budgeting we got the car. Thanks to TIM MAY and Johnny for trying their best to get me the BEST deal possible. I will surly send folks to Tim in the future. He was not pushy, did not ask for my number and said to call him when I was ready.

Mike is a total dirtbag and tells the receptionist to lie to their customers. He didn't want to give a loaner car to me until I threatened to report my car stolen. My car was towed there on March 8th and it was 3 weeks of waiting for parts and then another two weeks of they are working on it. Finally went down in person to find out it hadn't been worked on at all. My car was broken into so the window was broken and it was sitting there with rain and snow getting inside the car. The brand new brakes I had just gotten right before winter now rusted and a flat tire.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received at this dealership, and with Tony Vento. He made buying a car a very pleasant experience. We came in to test drive 4 different vehicles they had. After we test drove the first SUV, he had the next one pulled up, ready for us to jump into and test drive. There was no waiting around. Even though we were looking at a SUV at another dealership, Tony was the reason we came back to Cortese. Tony and the financial staff were kind, respectful and not pushy. They made us feel comfortable, unlike some of the other dealerships we dealt with. We will definately come back to Cortese when it is time to buy another car. Dealing with Cortese took away all the stress and frustration we have felt in the past, when it came time to purchasing a new vehicle.

I am quite the difficult client when it comes to car shopping. I have researched and visited other dealers all around the county. I came back to Cortese because no where else did I get the same patience. Plus they were able to give me more than I wanted. They went the extra mile, and even helped me bring my rental back. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door. Denise stayed late and worked hard to make a deal and I appreciated that.
