My car broke down two hours away from home. I was sent to J&E by a Binghamton local. What an painless experience. I want to thank them for their honesty and care. Their concern was not only fixing the problem, but they spent time going over the car so my teenager would be safe driving back home. Great people!!!!!!

They inspected my vehicle last year, no problem. There are different people there now when I took my vehicle in for inspection. They called & said it needed breaks all the way around. The girl in the office said they were squealing real bad. NO WAY! When I said no she said " So you just want him to fail it?" I pick my car up, had to pay for the inspection and drove out with no sticker in my window. I made an appointment with a garage that I know would not rip me off(now before you wonder why I didn't take it there to begin with,, I knew my car would pass inspection!) Sure enough, it passed NO PROBLEM! Be careful who you trust with your money!!

I’m very disappointed. I dropped my car off last night for an inspection today. My husband called first thing this morning to tell them that he noticed last night a bracket was broken on my muffler (I barely drive my car as I work from home so we weren’t aware until we went to drive it) whomever he spoke with listed off a whole list of things that would need to be done as well as more than just replacing the the bracket on the muffler. He said he didn’t trust it so we had the car towed towed to a larger mechanic who said it was indeed just a bracket that needs to be replaced and we will be spending half of what we would have if I had left my car with J&E. It’s a shame because they did fix my brakes and rotors at one point which I’m wondering if I even needed as when I bought my car, it had 13000 miles on it and now has about 26000 over the course of 5 years, this is how little I drive. I paid them anyway because I just didn’t think I’d be scammed but you live and you learn. They got me for $400 something on the brakes and rotors and that’ll be all from me. I won’t be going back.

I towed my car to J & E Auto Repair today after it suddenly started making a horrible noise, and I was freaking out. The team was incredibly kind, understanding, and quick to help. They diagnosed and fixed the issue the same day! Everyone was honest, professional, and genuinely caring. They even offer student discounts, which I really appreciate. I’m so grateful for their help, highly recommend this place!

We have used these guys for our automotive needs over the last 4 years, and I can say I’ve never worked with better mechanics or kinder business owners!! We were grateful to be referred to them by friends and they don’t disappoint. They are very personable, reasonable and responsive. We are grateful for their expertise and honest work.
