Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

Bought 4 new tires and four weeks later the rear driver tire completely blew out while driving down the freeway. Didn’t hit anything or notice any damage prior. I’ve never seen a tire literally disintegrate like that, it was destroyed. Luckily we were all safe and able to get to the side of the road safely. Got the spare put on and went straight to Monro. They confirmed I had a warranty on the tires and ordered the replacement. They called the next day to tell me it was ready. They didn’t tell me it wouldn’t be covered and replaced the tire and when they called to tell me it was ready they gave me 40% off a new tire so I ended up paying $60 for them to replace a tire that was only 4 weeks old. I could have gotten the tire cheaper at Walmart, but went back to Monro thinking it would be fully covered under warranty or at least a bigger discount considering the treads weren’t even worn and barely used. Super disappointed in the lack of communication from the employees about the pricing/warranty and also extremely disappointed in the “warranty”.

Quality work, reasonable prices, and competent staff. Been going to Monro in Glenmont for 25 years and have been delighted with the service. Several times they could have snowed me into a much more expensive repair, but they offered a more reasonable solution that worked. This honesty has brought me back to this Monro location repeatedly and recommend them to friends. Both of the service managers, Antonio and Crystal, are knowledgeable and able to explain what work is needed and why.

I recently had routine maintenance performed by the specialist at Monroe Auto and tire centers, And I was thoroughly impressed. The work was done with incredible attention to detail; the technicians took ample time to ensure that everything was function flawlessly. I highly recommend them for their professional and thorough service! PS: Price was great-Affordable.

I’ve gone here multiple times for multiple things and have always had a great experience. Anthony is wonderful. He goes above and beyond and is always very nice, upfront and honest. He treats everyone that walks in the same. I was able to make a same day appointment over the weekend for an oil change and my tires. I was so happy to get it taken care of and on short notice. This is a great location, highly recommend!

This should be zero stars. Do not go to the Monroe on 9w in Glenmont. I have been going there for approximately 18 years and the last couple of times they have recommended brakes or other services that were not needed at the time. The last and final time I will go there they did over $3000 dollars of work to the engine and then told me they can’t fix it and bring it to the dealership. The dealership recommended a new engine and said the work Monroe did was not needed since the truck needed a new engine. I should have learned my lesson with this place before but since I was a long time customer I tried to give them a chance. My vehicles will stay far away from this place in the future and I recommend finding a different place to work on your vehicles.
