Greg is an excellent mechanic - - whether you want a new bike assembled, an old bike tuned up, or a custom retro build. A few years ago, we hired Greg to create a fixie (a single speed, commuter bike) for our son-in-law. He found an old frame in great shape, we painted it, and Greg built the bike from scratch. He is a one man operation, though, so if you have a special request, it's best to make it an off-season project. Try to anticipate scheduled tune-ups and avoid the busy season for routine maintenance.

I have not been to this bicycle repair shop, but Greg messaged me on Facebook wanting to buy a bicycle frame. He suggested meeting up, which I was willing to work with, but needed to meet in a different direction. Out of nowhere, Greg became agitated and started swearing and insulting me. I hope Greg does not interact with his regular customers like this.

I've had three bikes repaired here and all three were old and in need of some heavy duty fixing up. I'm happy to say the bikes were all fixed to my satisfaction. Moreover, the owner is very knowledgeable about bikes and interesting to talk with. We had difficulty finding someone to repair our bikes and he fit the bill.

These are the reviews I saw. "The guy is just weird." "...for his work in a small dark dungeon room that hasn't been cleaned..." But I brought my bike there for set up/repair and left with an excellent job done. I'm not looking to live in his shop or house.Same day service on 1 bike and 2 day on the other.

Had my tire True and set with in 10 minutes and was a great guy to talk with, I'm glad i found someone so knowledgeable in bike repairs. thanks man!
