Honest, trustworthy, fairly priced, good people. I live nearby but had never been to this shop until my son was looking for a truck. After noticing some vehicles on the lot, we stopped in. While they didn’t have what he was looking for, we met the people who had the biggest impact on his car buying experience. They offered him advice and recommendations as to what to look for and really went out of their way to be helpful. Ended up doing a pre purchase inspection for us that helped us dodge a massive bullet. Since then, I had them put a part in my car and received the same great ‘small business’ service. Highly recommend. Won’t go anywhere else from now on, if I have a choice.

I brought my cherished 22 year old European vehicle to Ed Sears for a transmission swap which he did beautifully, but also broke bolts and hoses, upcharged me and didn't tell about the damage he caused and tried to sell me a different car when I picked mine up. I had my car at the same mechanic before and after Ed and now have written testimony of the incident and I'm taking Ed to court for damages. Pretty despicable.

I’ve been using these guys for a couple of years. My experience has been very positive- they have always accommodated my schedule, and have been able to get me in asap if I’m having any issue that needs attention quickly; they’re very efficient and reasonably priced; Ed, Lori and the guys are always very pleasant. I recommend that you go here if you want a good, solid, old school mechanic.

Solid experience. I arrived unnanoucned, with my Volvo on a flatbed with a dead starter. I was able to provide a part within a few days, and in less than a week my car was ready. The crew had to push my 4000lb tank across the parking lot, so much appreciated for your efforts! This is a third generation family run business. I respect the owner for being so transparent, and not looking to nickel and dime me for extras. Knowledgeable, easy going, and friendly staff. If you're unsure about where to bring your car, don't over think it.. Just go to Ed Sears. As someone who's done all of my own work, from exhaust, brakes, suspension, water pumps, and more, I can tell when a shop is sketchy— and Sears is NOT one of those shops.

Excellent service, great prices, and friendly people. Used their service for years for my GMC Terrain, and will continue use them for my Hyundai Elantra.
