I had an AC issue with my car and first went to the dealer about the problem. They told me it only needed gas, so they filled it up and the AC started working again. Unfortunately, two weeks later, I had the same AC issue again. I then went to Pep Boys for a diagnosis, and they found out it was actually a different issue. Christian was my service advisor and he helped me get everything fixed properly. Thanks to him, my AC is now working perfectly as normal. I highly recommend Pep Boys for your car needs, and definitely ask for Christian if you need anything done efficiently and quickly. He’s professional, helpful, and really good at what he does!

Went for an inspection on a Sunday. Was grateful that they offer this service on a Sunday since I’ve been very busy and I haven’t had the time to get it done before the end of the month.The staff was very courteous, efficient and I was on my way quite quickly. Highly recommend, and will be a repeat customer.

View on GoogleThere was miscommunication between my husband, the front desk associate, and me. However, the front desk associate was extremely rude and raised his voice at me when I asked him to call a warranty service I had for a patch in a tire. I also needed other work done, so this was not the only service I was getting. The day prior when I scheduled the appointment, no one mentioned it would be an issue (I made sure to bring it up then), but the front desk associate didn’t take the information for the company when my husband dropped off the car. I went in when I picked my husband up so I could try and give the employee the info, (because I didn’t see how he would call if he didn’t have that), and he got defensive saying my husband didn’t give him the info. He did not, but that is because he felt the employee made it seem like he knew what to do, though I took how my husband relayed it to me as he wasn’t going to call. I think we both got a little annoyed with each other, but the employee was saying it would take an hour to call (implying it wasn’t worth his time but not outright saying he wouldn’t call), so I was saying I was unhappy because I didn’t want to pay for it if the company would cover it. He ended up saying he would just give me the patch for free so he wouldn’t have to call. All of this was said very rudely rather than having a calm conversation with customer service in mind. His response to my asking how we could call and could I give him the info was immediately defensive with a raised voice, which did make me start to get heated too. In the end they did not charge me for the patch, but they did tack on a charge called “maintenance display reset”. I’ve never seen that on my bills before, and frankly to me it seems silly when getting other work done, but I asked and they claim it’s a standard charge depending on your vehicle. Everyone I dealt with after the rude associate was fine, but I don’t plan to return unless absolutely necessary out of convenience.
View on GoogleThis is my second visit to this location in 2 years and both times I was greeted by warm and helpful gentleman. No question was a "stupid question"- they took time to show and explain. I wasn't bullied into a fix or purchase...they presented information and allowed me to decide based on what my pockets could handle. Overall, I left feeling happy with their swift execution.
