Sweets East End Repair

I have a 15 Suburban, and the thermostat housing broke. I was trying to get home to NC. I repaired it in a parking lot and was able to get to Sweets, where they fixed everything and got me back on the road very quickly. While the repair was being done, the owner's uncle was there(sorry, I didn't get his name), and we had an amazing conversation. My crazy day went from a zero to a 10 because of what this shop did for me. Their pricing was very fair and I Highly recommend them. A big thank you for helping a girl out!

My car had a loose fuse and Junior was able to get me taken care of same day on a Saturday. Very nice folks and extremely fair pricing too. I highly recommend.

I went here to get a new gas tank put in end up having to put new lines as well supposedly 3 days later I was stuck in the road ! Went back to get it check out cuz fuel leaking he supposed to have to fix it n somehow again I have a gas leak ! I had to go somewhere else to get it redone the right way cuz country had a nasty attitude with me n wanted to recharge me again for his messed up work !! I give him 1/10 ! Bad service and bad attitude not a good look !!!

Sweet’s helped me out when my truck began overheating on a road trip crossing NY State on I-90. The owner, Vashon, is professional and friendly. I called from the highway describing my situation and he assured me he could look at my truck when I arrived, which he did. Also, it was Saturday and Sweet’s was the only shop open in the area, which I attribute to plain good business sense! Vashon and a couple of his employees inspected and diagnosed the issue in a short time, communicated the details clearly with me and made sure I understood the cost. Vashon even went to pick up the parts needed himself because the parts shop doesn’t have delivery on Saturdays, and he still finished the work in an efficient manner! Kindness is professionalism. I read all the reviews here and I second all the five star reviews. For those of you that have poor reviews based on long waits or anything else, please consider that for tradespeople, of all kinds, there are many circumstances that are variable, and therefore out of their control when it comes to fixing cars or building houses or whatever it may be. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m certain, Vashon is offering dedicated service to his community and beyond. Thank you!

Competent and honest. A real treasure to find a mechanic like this in Amsterdam. Been coming here for a while and have not been disappointed.
