Danyal Auto repair

We found ourselves broken down in Little Falls, about 40 miles from Amsterdam, early one Sunday morning (5/17/26). The only shop open for miles was Danyal Auto. The battery light on our 2015 Honda Pilot came on and over the next several miles nearly all of the indicator lights on the dashboard illuminated. The vehicle eventually lost power. We suspected the alternator was bad. We explained to Danyal that we were headed home to central Connecticut. He said he would order a new alternator and meet us at his shop whenever we arrived. We were towed and arrived a couple of hours later. We met Danyal and his family all working at the shop. Danyal had already gotten the new alternator and was ready to get to work. The entire family was wonderful and made us comfortable while we waited. After about 2 hours the new alternator was in and all was back to normal. The car ran great and we finished our journey home by dinner time. The price was fair and the convenience of Sunday hours relieved a tremendous amount of stress for my wife and me. I can’t say enough good about Amsterdam’s newest service station. Thank you!

The gentleman that runs the shop is incredibly hardworking and friendly. I brought my own parts and he installed them without issue. The labor was priced more than fairly, quite quick and they messaged me to keep me updated on the vehicle. I honestly cannot recommend this shop enough.
