From my experience dealing with this business for over a year now, I am dissatisfied with the quality of the work, communication & lack of follow through on court orders. My truck was at the shop for 81 days, as I received repeated delays regarding completion. After the differential rebuild was complete, gear oil began leaking after approximately 46 miles. The shop replaced the seal, but I still had problems. Had the differential inspected and rebuilt by another mechanic because additional issues were identified. I was also charged more than $7,500 for work involving the transfer case. I disputed whether the work had been performed, and the matter ultimately went to court. After reviewing the evidence, the court ruled in my favor and entered judgment against the business owner. If the judgment gets paid we can all move forward. Based on my experience, I would never return to this shop. I found the communication poor and the overall experience frustrating.

This is the highlight of a 80 Day Nightmare of Delays, Deception, Dishonesty, Excuses and Ghosting from a F rated business according to the BBB. Transfer Case and Differential repair. As brief as it can be told. My friend left the day before me for an off road trip from OC Ca. to Sand Hollow Ut. She broke down in the Las Vegas area. Ended up using Spanky to do repairs. Original repair estimated to be 5 days. According to spanky parts delays and what not stretched to 3 weeks. At this point my friend had already returned to OC and left for a pre planned 4 week vacation. Great, Spanky has plenty of time to finish the job. WRONG! Upon returning she is unable to contact Spanky by text or phone and thinks she has been scammed out of her truck and contacts me. We had a relative who lives in the LV area attempt to contact spanky and guess what he answers the phone. WHY would you ghost someone who has left their truck with you. The relative reads the spanky the riot act and then contact between him and my friend is established. Spanky claims the truck is still not ready. Spanky can’t figure out why she is VERY unhappy. Finally arrangements are made to get the truck, I take her to tow her trailer back and she will drive her truck. We don’t get to stateline and the differential is spewing out gear oil from the front seal that the spanky admits to reusing after having previously installed it. A seal is only new once, when removed it is trash. Ask any experienced mechanic. After almost a 4 hour wait spanky has the truck towed back to him for a “Quick fix”. WRONG AGAIN!. After 18 days of ghosting and excuses we finally meet and get the truck back. Spanky is mad as heck and is unable to comprehend how someone would be upset with the overall situation. Upon returning home the differential is already having abnormal vibrations. I roll around under the truck to inspect and now notice there is no evidence of the Transfer case replacement. The truck is taken to 2 different reputable mechanics and it is determined the differential needs repairs. Both mechanics also verified there is NO evidence the transfer case was replaced. The billing is hard to comprehend and has charges for parts and labor never completed. It has a charge for a new transfer case $4585, 5 charges for labor $1980 total and a $992 charge to rebuild the “New” transfer case. SERIOUSLY! Now to the invoice, for someone not familiar with repairs they would not see the red flags. Multiple issues and discrepancies were immediately noted when her mechanics reviewed it. There are numerous bad details about this whole situation that would take too long to explain. Personal meetings, phone calls, attached invoice and extensive text messages can verify EVERYTHING. Hindsight is 20/20 - AVOID spanky.
