American Tire and Service

We had to have a carburetor rebuilt and now our vehicle runs like a rocket ship. It is incredible. We are so happy with the service that we received from American. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

When we first arrived in Rio Rancho 3 years ago, nearly everyone we spoke to recommended American Tire for our service needs. They have never steered us wrong. I have complete trust in their workmanship, and staff is friendly and helpful. I love my car and want it to last forever. With American Tire’s help, that may happen!

American Tire and Service is trustworthy and extremely reliable! They have a high level of integrity as well! I witnessed a lady walk in who had already received an oil change, tire rotation, and vehicle inspection two months earlier and came in for another oil change after receiving a promotional text. The front office could’ve very easily told her that they’d be happy to perform another oil change, tire rotation, vehicle inspection, and instead turned away the business because it was the right thing to do. She responded happily, and assured them that she would be back in a couple of months for the service again. I myself, went in because my oil pan was leaking, turns out that the drain valve was just loose. I initially thought it was a seal issue, and I would’ve never known otherwise. They tightened the bolt and charged me minimally for the service. At this point this will be the only place I go if I’m having trouble with my vehicle. It’s all about trust and professionalism; American Tie and Service has it.

Update with a Happy resolution: These guys ARE stand-up professionals and true gentlemen. They called me first thing Tuesday morning, apologized for the inconvenience, and asked me to stop by anytime because they had located my wheel lock. They also took the time to show me the exact position of the nail in my tire and explain why repairing it would have been unsafe. They recommended I visit Discount Tire for a matching replacement tire since ATS did not carry my tire brand in stock. Once I got to Discount Tire, I ultimately decided to replace my current wheels and tires entirely. Interestingly enough, I discovered the root cause of my repeated issues was that my lug nut pattern was not a standard OEM size. Honestly, I’m grateful for ATS’ professionalism and concern for safety because, without their recommendation and transparency, I might never have discovered the actual issue before something serious happened. American Tire & Service does Good business!!! Support local ---------------------------------------------- Disappointed. AMS did not complete 2 of 3 requested services. I was called two and a half hours after my appointment time, that my vehicle was ready. I got dropped off and my vehicle was Not ready. After waiting 15 minutes the tech came in to verify with the front desk what type of oil was needed for my oil change. I waited an additional 45 minutes. When I left, I had other errands to do but once I got home I went to look for my wheel lock and it was not where it was supposed to be. After the messy experience I can only assume they lost my wheel lock. They did not do the Rotation of my tires or Repair to the one tire that had a nail in it.

Best automotive repair service in region. They have solved problems that several dealships could not and had charged me for and given up!!! I go with American tire and service anytime!!! American tire and service wont give up they will find and take care of your vehicle issues. Their quotes are accurate. I would never give up on ATS Rio Rancho NM
