Air conditioner repair done in 2023. Did not realize the shop had changed from Father ran to son ran. Our AC on our only car broke during a heat wave. We replaced a couple of parts before bring it in. $400 later they were able to tell us it was an electrical issue. We had placed a typed letter stating everything that had been check and replaced as well as the old parts w receipts. We ended up with getting a switched installed (which just went out) for a total of $600 in labor and parts. He told us he didn't want to take the dash off to repair it as our car was "too old" BTY it was 12 years old, it is still running fine. Would not recommend. I was thinking that since we had already replaced several parts and it was very obvious that it was an electrical problem in the dash that they would have been able to repair it so that it would work like new for $600, not have a cheap switch that only blows on high. Mainly writing so others with older cars (mine was 12 years at the time) would find another alternative. They also bend our spare tire cover in half. If your car is "too old", find another shop that will treat you fair. The father would come out and talk to you look at your car etc.., The son acts like you're bothering him if he walks to the front desk to talk to you.

There are few places and mechanics that I trust. For 20 years now we have trusted Motor Car Mall. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. Approximately four years ago, this shop repaired my truck after it was vandalized. Recently, I began using the truck regularly again to haul horses and noticed several issues that either were not repaired properly or now require attention related to the original work. Because the shop states it has a lifetime guarantee on its repairs, I brought the truck back and simply asked that the concerns be reviewed. Instead of inspecting the issues I pointed out, the manager immediately accused me of lying, later called me a scammer, and stated that I had no morals. At no point was I treated with professionalism or respect. I was not asking for anything unreasonable—I was asking the shop to honor the lifetime warranty they advertise and to evaluate the concerns with their previous work. Regardless of whether the shop ultimately agreed with my assessment, there is no excuse for speaking to a customer in such a disrespectful and insulting manner. The experience was shocking and completely unprofessional. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this shop take into account not only the quality of the work, but also how customers are treated when warranty concerns arise.

If you want to avoid delays and excuses, do not take your vehicle to this place. I dropped off my truck, and they assured me it would be ready in two weeks; it ended up taking six weeks. During that time, I kept calling for updates, but all I received were excuses: that parts hadn’t arrived, that the insurance wasn’t responding, that there were additional damaged parts not included in the estimate. I understood that unforeseen issues can arise, so I waited. In the fifth week, they called me to pick it up. When I arrived, the truck was parked outside. Upon inspection, I noticed several loose parts, especially on the tailgate, which combines metal and plastic. Some plastic pieces were just loosely placed. When I pointed this out, the person in charge told me it was normal because “the truck is old.” I disagreed because if they broke something during the repair, they should have included it in their estimate and taken responsibility. Additionally, a damaged taillight that was included in the estimate had not been repaired. I refused to accept the vehicle. Five days later, they called me again. This time, I signed the paperwork at home, with no expectations that the work had improved. But when I checked, I found more issues: • The cord attached to the gas cap was broken. • The plastic pieces were still poorly installed. • The gap in the taillight was still there, but now they had stuffed some foam inside, where I could see water drops trapped. To me, this is not a long-lasting repair; I’ll likely have to replace parts to prevent moisture from getting in and causing rust. They even tried to charge me extra, claiming the insurance didn’t cover all the labor costs, although they ultimately didn’t follow through.

Best Customer Service Ever! They did body work to my car and it looks brand new. Paint is perfect no running lines or drips, color matching was perfect. I won't take my vehicle's anywhere else now.
