Dudley is an amazing and honest mechanic. In a world where people are looking to cut corners and screw you over Dudley is honest, up front, and reasonable. His repairs have always been solid and he is super straightforward about his pricing. As a woman who really doesn’t know anything about cars it’s reassuring to know I can take my car to him and know I’m not gonna be taken advantage of (I.e. I just need a valve change but someone says it’s the whole engine) like other shops will. My family has stuck with him for years to the point he’s probably sick of us lol. We trust him 1000% and I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I was traveling through Albuquerque and my dash lit up with all the error code and my vehicle went into limp mode. I immediately went over to the dealership where they pulled the codes and told me they couldn’t do anything for me. I went to a repair shop around the corner from that dealership and they also sent me on my way without any help. I stopped by TEC PRO maybe 20 minutes before the shop was closing and he was gracious enough to give my vehicle a once over and address the issue which was simple enough. He charged me nothing and I finished the over 1000 mile trip I was on without issue. The unexpected kindness and care while I was standing in a strange place far from home was appreciated.

I recently had an issue with my car’s headlight, which was getting condensation, and I was worried it might require a costly replacement. I found Mr. Dudley, a mechanic who is incredibly kind, humble, and generous. He quickly discovered that the bulb was simply loose and fixed it on the spot—without charging me anything! He even took the time to show me his auto shop, which is inside a warehouse. I truly appreciated his honest heart—he is genuinely honest and clearly doesn’t look to take advantage of people. His warm, caring nature and willingness to help without expecting anything in return really stood out to me. I’m extremely grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone!

I have been a Tec Pro Auto Care customer for 10 years and always received excellent customer service from Dudley until my last visit. I had my car towed to Tec Pro on November 24, 2023, and picked it up on December 2, 2023. When I arrived at Dudley's shop on December 2, he greeted me and told me my car wasn't cooperating. He said he replaced the ignition switch and the car ran fine but all the warning lights on the instrument cluster were on and did not turn off after the engine started. He couldn't explain why the lights wouldn't turn off and said I could take the car and he would research the problem and call me with a possible solution on Tuesday, December 5th. I asked him if he had pressed the reset button located in the fuse box and told he me that he had not thought about doing that. We went to where my car was parked and I started the engine and he pressed the reset button. All of the warning lights went off. I was surprised by his failure to do this, something I would have expected a master technician to have done before my arrival. He looked at the instrument cluster after the warning lights turned off and said, your odometer isn't working and is showing an “error” message. My odometer was working when I took it to Tech Pro and when I picked the car up it no longer displayed the mileage. He told me to take the car since everything else was working and he would do research to try to find out what could be causing the “error” message and would call me on Tuesday, December 5, with a possible solution. I did not hear from him on Tuesday so I called him and got his voicemail. I identified myself and the issue with my odometer and requested a callback. I did not receive a callback on Tuesday so I called him on Wednesday and requested a callback on his voicemail. He did not call on Wednesday so I left another message on voicemail on Thursday and as of today December 11, 2023, Dudley has not had the courtesy or decency to return my voicemails but gladly took my $826.76 payment. Thank you, Dudley! Now I'm left with a nonworking odometer that worked before taking it to Tec Pro Auto Care. I believe that the ignition switch was improperly installed or something was damaged when the old ignition switch was removed. Now Dudley is hiding out ignoring my calls and voicemail hoping I will go away. I will go away and take my business elsewhere and not recommend Tec Pro Auto Care to anyone else! This issue could have been mitigated if Dudley had called me like he said he would! Now I have a car with a nonworking odometer that is going to cause me a problem when I sell or trade the car because there won't be a record of the actual mileage. Thanks, Dudley! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TEC PRO AUTO CARE!

I took my wife's car to Dudley because of the rave recommendation of a friend and I am happy to say he was right. Dudley did excellent work on car at a very reasonable (dare I say bargain) price. His communication was excellent, he didn't try to speak over my head and was very thorough and willing to answer questions. I now have a new mechanic. My friend has been going to Dudley for years and said he won't go anywhere else.
